What happened to them?
The giant affiliated ta's and that "MIsterious" rumor coNtrol Avatar guY cAn chime in on the old 4th and B...
I remember victor D posting that on broadway was getting a facelift and we would be amazed by the end result.
Wavehouse? Nerologic what's the scoop? Led is stuck playing day events at voyeur.

Now there's this on Saturdays too: http://www.harrahsrincon.com/divedayclub/ I'm digging the shuttle option, but there's no way a casino in the middle of nowhere can last, let alone get a decent headliner.
And I was at Bassmnt for Jerome Isma-ae like their second weekend after opening and was decently impressed. The second room was so out tune that my ears paid for days, but it reminded me of old school 4th&B days...room to dance and wander, but not a ghost town. Last time I was at Voyeur for my birthday in April, it wasn't packed either...is EDM losing steam in SD?

Bassmnt was packed when I was there for BT, but the second room was closed. Main room and Bar were full though. It'll pick up steam with the names on a weekend (FINALLY!)
I haven't been to Voyeur in years (after they screwed two different DJ friends on 2 different occasions I stopped supporting - that's not including two of my friends who were residents there for over a year).
I doubt EDM is losing steam - more like Voyeur brings the same people month after month. Same with Fluxx, though the doors should open again for eventvibe since they partnered with Insomniac at Bassmnt and Hard Rock will pick back up (summer time bros again). |

| lovelife parties seem to be some of the better ones in sd. was at the blond:ish pool party at the palomar on sunday. good party with a good system and good crowd. i wouldnt even attempt to make my way into the hard rock for intervention. |

SD could use a new venue. Avalon opening soon will help a lot.

Cool easily my fave club in Cali. The multiple rooms were perfect for my non edm friends. Consistent headliners every Friday and Saturday.
I'll be checking out Darude Friday at belo, i mean bassmnt. I see cmb is playing too, so should be a good night.
Dealing with intervention Sunday since wavehouse is on the shelf. Too bad, my fave day spot. |

| Bassmnt changed setups again. The 3D mapping behind the DJ is gone and now its just a huge LED wall (Voyeur style). Bottle service booths come way out into the dance floor now too....guess it was all bound to happen. Bring back Spin! |
