I know what you mean about it not being there best. What I gathered from talking to both Antillas and Suzy, was that the sound in the booth was not that great. Antillas told me that he thought the club had a limiter or a compressor, compressing the signal of the monitor speakers. When you turned it up to where it needed to be, it was causing the music to have a pumping effect in the booth, kind of like what you hear in music production from sidechaining.
Also, Suzy plays a completely different stlye when she opens for a big act. She tones it down a lot to not over shine the headliner. When she is headlining, her sets are much harder, and more uplifting.

Hey LIL-B why not book some locals and do a house party. I always wanted to meet Suzy.

I don't book the talent for this night. I have made suggestions on what artists/friends I want to see booked though. This week, they are doing a Tampa vs Orlando show with close DJ friends of mine from the Orlando Trance Movement, Robb Blak and Jason Carr.
We regularly after party with the Orlando Trance crew when Suzy and I travel there, or if they come to Tampa to see Suzy or another trance artist, its always on! We've had Markus, Ferry, Antillas, Andy Moor, Thomas Bronzwaer, Vast Vision, and Daniel Wanrooy over. Suzy gets the award for last one standing almost every time. We are a drama free group from all walks of life that like to enjoy ourselves through music and good friends. Come to a show sometime and you'll see

I apologize, thought you were a promoter.

Look, I don't want to piss anyone off and as long as you and others have fun at the events, that's all that matters. I don't enjoy myself at such parties and I know I'm not alone.

"Fun" and a "good night out" are subjective concepts. I apologize for coming across too strongly.

Ucforange, it's cool and I totally understand what you mean about fun and a good night out. I just didn't want you to knock it based on 1 review. If they book someone you want to see, get a hold of me and I will put you on our guest list.

This is great to hear. Make sure to find me so we can have a beer or a shot together. I'm interested to know what DJ's you guys would like to see. I would be happy to pass on your suggestions :-)

Alright, that sounds good. Can never go wrong by introducing oneself with a beer and a shot. Speaking my language.

These are some of the trance DJs I'd like to see...Rank 1, Menno De Jong, Manuel Le Saux, John Askew, J00F, Basil O'Glue, Airwave, Bryan Kearney, Oakenfold (if he agrees to do a TRANCE set though). Don't know how realistic these names are, I know some of them rarely venture to the U.S. I would imagine it'd be easiest to nab them when they're already doing an Esscala event in NYC that weekend.

I would like to see John Askew, Sneijder, Kearney, O'Callaghan, Ben Nicky,

Oh and Ferry Tayle.

:)

You're not even from this area, nor do you go to events.

PS. I wrote that review from my alt account :o

Good looking list and a few names I forgot to mention. I will gladly pass on these suggestions.
