Where exactly is underground?.. I'm new to this site and Im glad to see more clubs out here playing trance more often . Trying to meet people in my area who like the same music as I do and don't only listen to it to pop beans.

It's in downtown Tampa. Take the Ashley exit off of I275. Head South and after you pass Kennedy Blvd, take a left on Whiting st. The Underground is a few blocks down at 802 Whiting st, on the left side. There are lots to park in that cost money or you can street park for free. The crowd is about 50/50 in regards to people who go for the music while the other half probably go to just party. This week they are having a Tampa vs Orlando night. Look for the DJ's and their crew. Most that are hanging with them are the type of people you seek to meet. We have a large network of close friends from both cities brought together through trance.

Everyone complaining about the kids sound a little ridiculous, in my opinion. "Can't have fun without the kiddies?" That's sad. Personally, I could care less about the crowd or the venue. I'm there for the music, and I can have fun at any crappy video with any people around me as long as the music is good. The venue is definitely not more important to me than the music. The bottom line is the average age of people who go to clubs IS young.. early 20s. We are just getting older. I'm not in the scene to judge anyone.. it's great to see people of all ages enjoying the music. If you can't have fun because of the crowd or venue, how much do you truly love the music?

I don't get this at all. Why not just play music at your house then and skip going out altogether? If you don't care about what the venue is like and you don't care about what the crowd is like...why even go? :conf:

And I don't think anyone is "sad" for being selective with regards to the parties they go to. It's their money...

With that said, it is true that you can have a good time with the kiddies being present. It's just rare. Like I said, giving this venue a shot in the near future.

lol.. I mean why does anyone go see their favorite dj, band, etc in concert? Seeing them in person and hearing the music live is amazing. I could have a great time in a freakin barn with kiddies as long as I love the musc lol :gsmile: ;)

Electronic music is much different than rock music. Totally different. The party is more important that anything, at least in my opinion. To me, this music doesn't mean so much if the party sucks ass. I guess I just see it from the exact opposite viewpoint as you. Of course I want to hear great music (it's also vitally important) but if the vibe is terrible then it doesn't matter how good it is.

Case in point...Nicole Moudaber at Roxy. I'll be there alright, but I have doubts that it's going to be a great time. If it's overwhelmed by bros "RAGING" and the like, she can play the greatest set in the history of Drumcode and it still wouldn't be an unforgettable night.

I guess I just haven't had a bad experience yet seeing electronic music live. All the clubs, crowds, have been fine. Hope you have a good time at Roxy, I haven't seen anyone there.

I agree with higherstate and also disagree, I'm all for the music but just wait till you party where its sardine central and you can't move an inch.
