What's up with the Tiesto flaming

why is it suddenly a standard to bash and flame tiesto!!!! it's just ing pathetic, i mean the guy usually puts down a good dj set and even though i have't seen him live yet i always enjoy his livesets i hear on mp3! and most people who i know from real live or ta are always very positive when they saw him that night before!
maybe he spins usually the same tunes for a longer time but most dj's do the same! armin does exactly the same!! and maybe you don't like his new remixes, so what have a little respect and keep your mouth shut instead of bashing a good dj!!
that's just what i wanted to say, i don't mean to flame anyone but i just wanna know why people like to bash him, i seems to become a hype!!
ps.. this ain't a flame thread so lets give some good arguments please! :) |

could be, i have been a bit non active in the music discussion.. but still, why bash a dj!! he's there to entertain us, and what do we do? he flame the guy, why? |

Tiesto is basically just a dissappointment at the moment. He used to be a master, his mixing was spot on, his tune selections were class, his sets and CDs were a joy to listen to. Recntly, Tiesto opted for a change in style and not for the better. His recent sets have been very samey, playing the same tunes for months! Hes dropped Lethal Industry in every t/l I've seen since April!
He needs to get some new tracks, his mixing is also suffering.
I hope Tijs can pull it around :) |

okay, he like played lethal industry way to many times but lets face it, he wasn't the only one doing it.. if a tune gets popuar most people who go to see a dj want to hear some tunes which they recognize! and most people who go to these livesets are members of tranceaddict or any forum, most just like the music but don't go to forums or download all of the new tunes!
i agree that tiesto's mixing ain't that great but it never was, he always was the man of dropping the tunes the croud wanted to hear and reading the croud!
edit. on some points i agree with ya but still i think he's a good dj and that flaming the guy is just stupid!!
and changing style?? he still spins energy/uplifing trance, people claiming that tiesto is going prog. are full of ! |

Don't get me wrong, I love Tiesto but it makes me cringe when I see a new t/l every week and it has:
Jones & Stephenson - 1st Rebirth (Airwave)
WOW - Mindcircus (G&D)
Tiesto - Lethal Industry
DJ Albert & Precision - Say yeah
all good tunes, but not evey single set! plus, his mixing has gone downhill too
