Many a good time at 425 Adelaide St. West.
Staff have always been great and the musical talent brought in over the years has been fantastic. I unfortunately, did not have a very long System Sound Bar era as many have - so in the early days Footwork was "My" System Soundbar.

To some of my best musical nights in Toronto at the hands of Luke Fair, Danny Howells and most recently last year, The Man Like:
The list goes on.
Thank you for all the memories, (including the fuzzy ones :tongue2) the patio conversations and most of all the dancing. You were the only afterhours club that I got my wife into more than 1 time! lol
This venue will be missed.

| great bookings, great vibe, meh space. Loved the place, sad to see it go, will go to the closing party, but man, something else will carry the torch soon. |

Some of my favourite parties there (in order of greatness):
- Robag Wruhme (early 2009/2010?)
- Lee Burridge in 2009 (my first time ever seeing him)
- Matthew Dear - Sugar Beach Afterparty 2012
- Various Roaches vs. Junkies parties (these was arguably the best party series at FW)
- Davide Squillace Winter 2010
- Danny Howells open-close (2008?)
- Gullaume & The Coutu Dumonts + Mathew Johnson
Biggest regret missing: Dubfire & Magda b2b until 7am after Brrrr this year. !

IIRC, wasn't there talk about Lawler wanting to play in unconventional spaces (like a parking lot or something) last year? Then people complained about it when he was booked to play in Maison instead? Maybe this is a one off event... |
