Damn :( Super sad to see FW close it's doors...
I'll always remember my first visit to FW - Deadmau5 in June 2007. Packed SUV full of the Kdubb crew. Google maps didn't help us find the entrance/sidewalk off the beaten club path, we had to ask people someone who've already been there. That fresh new club experience and feel is something I won't forget.
A lot of people rag on FW for it's small size, but I always seemed to forget about how narrow the dancefloor was and succumbed to the music, vibe and intimateness.
You have to give FW owners credit for fighting the rising condo market and managing to stay open as long as they have! The leaps, bounds and dog & pony show they must’ve gone through whilst adjusting to nearby incoming neighbours without sacrificing the quality of bookings and sound is nothing to sneeze at. I’m almost positive this isn’t the end, but acknowledge it as a new beginning. Can’t wait to see what new alley way they will pop up in next ;) |

| It would be nice to have a Music On night with Barato, Lio & Carola to close FW. He's in NYC the following weekend... just sayin' :) |

Joris Voorn was an amazing night! Best night ever for me has to be St.Patrick's day when Eats Everything rocked that place and drank a case of Guiness then Maceo Plex destroyed that dancefloor. Place was a sauna, dripping of fun!
The should put up a statue of Panther afterwards... |

| Ungodly lineup at around 1 am or so. Lots of people squeezing in their last fw night. |

My best parties at fw are
Silent night with Chris liebing + tony rohr
Marc houle (first time)
Paul Ritch (first time again, made the place a zoo)
Adam Beyer with ida
Can't believe I'm not remembering more than this |

| Murat, Robert Hood, both 2008 - only memorable nights I had there, perfect combo of music to my taste *and* room to dance (always my biggest beef with FW). |

craziest night i ever saw there was easily Switch, prob. 5 years ago.
i've never seen anything like that there. people dancing on the speakers, drink rest shelves, and the bar itself.
his laptop would stop working every 15 minutes or so but it only seemed to make everyone go crazier.
for pure craziness, nothing has approached that night. |
