| I'm looking to buy a quality watch. Nothing flashy, I don't really want to spend more than $500. Anyways, I'm interested in a lot of the Citizen Eco Dive watches, but I'm looking for suggestions of quality watches in that price range. And please nobody say Fossil. |

I love watches, lol. I had a Citizen Eco Drive myself (maybe 5 years ago?) but I never liked it that much. Their range might be a lot better now.
Spend a little more and get a Swiss watch. A little more to be spent on upkeep though (when ever you need a new battery, just bend over, and let them have their way - every 3-ish years), but they are quality time-pieces. Might be cheaper in the USA though.
Start with the less expensive Swiss - Check a brand called Tissot. They make some very nice, high quality watches. |

I have a Boccia Titanium Chronograph for I think 10 years now. Not very expensive, but I like the Titanium color.
They have a cool configurator now: http://teno.com/Boccia-Titanium/Boc...no-Configurator
Don't know how it is quality wise compared to other watches. Don't care as at work I wear a cheap Casio because of magnetic fields.
Here's a review in case you're interested: review Boccia |

For some reason I really like this one
When I see people wearing Rolex, Movado, etc. I just feel like they're trying too hard. Really I'm just looking for a quality watch that's not too flashy so I can tell the time without looking at my phone. I hate anything with gold on it, and I'm not all that big on silver either.
I guess I'd prefer either something titanium, black, or with a leather band. |

Personally i hate wearing watches.... I even own a rolex and i think i have worn it twice now? Personally i just dont need to know the time that badly. I carry around two cell phones which both have a clock on them, my SUV has a dash clock, i have a clock on my desk at the office and then more at home. I mean is the rolex cool? hells yes it is, it winds itself and needs no battery ever.... this particular one has been keeping time since the mid 70's but personally if i see someone walking around with a 20k watch on and then another person rocking a piece of timex, the first thing ill think of is whether or not the timex has the indiglo light on it....
I find it hilarious when people go out and drop up to a grand (or way more) on a flash analog time piece that they love to brandish and show at every opportunity..... Then i bust out my smart phone and be like "Bitch, this mofo cost me 60 bucks on a 3 year contract, it also tells time, has HD resolution, sends and receives mail, allows me to talk to people long distances away and did i mention it has GPS? yeah that's right it communicates with outer ing space!"
If you are going to wear a time piece, do it like this,

What about Skagen Denmark? I think they look good too. I read someone always got compliments when wearing his Skagen and didn't get any when wearing one of his six much more expensive watches, it pissed him off :)

| I wear a vintage Rolex myself. It was a present I bought myself when I graduated college. 1963 Oyster Perpetual gold & stainless. Love it. Rolex never needs winding just move your arm and it winds itself. |
