Haha, when you said "too dark," I read it at first as a reference to the lighting. NOT ENOUGH STROBES TO GET MY ROLL ON.

I'm peaking just watching these vids. You guys in the UK really have it good when it comes to variety of music at clubs. Reach for the lasers god damn it! Also that guy singing the orange theme and netherworld is awesome :D

I've said more than once in Music Discussion that trance, particularly modern trance, is so crassly overblown that its fans must be emotionally stunted in some way to actually take it seriously. I also think that trance is so unpopular these days and so limited to this weird Internet pseudo-scene that the kind of people who gravitate to it are the kind who spend too much time sat on their computer at home. Certainly the people you get at trance events these days are just clearly not quite balanced.

:( you jack!

Guess hes one of those guys who has to take a few Es to have fun. I can kinda relate to that if I am not feeling the music, but with Oliver Lieb spinning classics

He wasn't on one. He did produce a massive joint during the warm-up set with the proclamation "Now it's time to get high" and offered me some. He just doesn't dance. On one occasion he showed up at Manchester Piccadilly train station just as I was getting off the train to go to Illuminaughty, which seemed like a coincidence but with hindsight is quite creepy because he lived in Manchester and the station is nowhere near the venue or where he lived, and I hadn't even told him I was going. He then tagged along all night and came to the afterparty and stayed until 9am to see Dave King's set, and didn't dance to anything.

Fixed.

Can you elaborate on that? I'm desperately trying to learn this thing called English, and I need all the help I can get. I've heard you're an editor, so..

Definition 3 here seems to imply that it would, indeed, be correct to use 'why' there.

It could be that you're just joking, though.

Reason why is redundant.

It's nit-picky, yes, but that's the point of me breaking balls about it.

I'd make it a habit to avoid redundancies like this.

Here are some other common ones:
