What do you guys think of piercings?
I like ear piercings only. And only some, not those gargantuan ones that stretch your earlobes to oblivion.
Belly button piercings are so tired, every girl and her cousin has one.
But I gotta say the worst is the septum piercings, ugh, why? You look like a bull. |

My half sister has her septum pierced, and it looks quite pretty in fact. But then she has a cute nose and very fine features, so it works somehow. She also wears small jewelry in it which adds to the appeal.
Just like anything else, it has to be done right.
Still have my belly button jewelry in - I've had it pierced for half my life basically so now it looks weird to me without it, lol. I also wear more expensive jewelry in it - a heart shaped Swarovski crystal in white gold. :o
Removed my tongue ring ages ago, and used to have a surface piercing below my belly button that I removed as well. My nose is still pierced and I wear a small stud when I feel like it. |

I don't mind the small ones so much, and as you said, there are some people with the right features that suits them. But some look ridiculous.

What was it and why do you no longer wear it?
I only have my ears pierced and I very, very rarely wear earrings, they bother me, I only do it for fashiony reasons if it's a special occasion. |

I had a ring in my left eyebrow and an ear stud in my right ear.
I had to pull too many all-nighters by the end of my Master's and my immunological system suddenly turned against my piercings. I'm seriously thinking of putting them back again after my PhD. |

That's a bummer. I actually considered getting a brow piercing a few years back but I had a serious job and, as cool as those piercings look, it just wouldn't look professional. |

| Those huge circular huge round ear piercings witha hole in the middle forgot what their called are a huge let down. Its like why would you do that to your ear homes? |
