Paul Oakenfold--Live @ Creamfields (26.08.02)

OH MY ING GOD!!!

omg! i cry! i die! @ 16:10 when he starts mixing in Southern Sun, the crowd orgasms and starts chanting "OAKEY, OAKEY"... MAJOR GOOSEBUMPS

oakey delivers a BOMB... mint mixing, track selection & flow... not a single boring second! i say he put some major effort into this essential mix!! everyone must get it and listen to it 7 times/day!!!

because this set is MAJOR PIE CUBED!!!

so all you OAKEY haters out there... BLAH YOU!!!

Shem he didnt play a set like this at godskitchen global gathering.

He is a very experimental dj atm, so plays very different sets, going from trance to full on house, and breakbeat as well. So atm im not a huge fan, but he still plays some amazing sets :)

GREAT! My opinion sticks tho. He's lost it. I think nothing of him, and as harsh as it may sound i wouldnt wanna go to one of his sets if he paid me to. But... if he makes u and every other oakie fan happy than thats what matters i guess :) glad ya like the set :)

I took this photo just as Southern Sun started to come in, 16 mins into Oakenfold's set :)

He was probably the most popular DJs at the event, it might have been because not alot else was going on at the time, but the tent was packed to bursting. And yeh, the crowd did love Southern Sun.. me included! :)

i have never lost my respect of oakie, even after he started playing sets, and went more commercialized.. i still respected his career moves. change is good.

his recent sets do show his true potential, and i loved them. afterall he is, and always will be, one of the best dj's in the world, no matter where his career takes him.
