yeah...got to the line at 1, didn't get in till 3. Place was packed to the gills and hot as balls.
Music was decent but there was a definite drop in production from the the last indoor Cityfox party. The panel monitors displayed only what seemed like geometric shapes and the lasers came on very sporadically during the night.
I missed Ten Walls, but from what other people said, he was just dropping his biggest hits, nothing really extraordinary. Maceo was decent but he went off on some real bizarre tangents, also the flow wasn't that great.
Left towards the middle of David August's set. I liked some of what I heard but his slower pace was a buzzkill.
Overall, it was a decent night, but not worth the 70 bucks. |

Pretty incredible party. Took about an hour to get in which was annoying....and yea, pretty packed and hot, but not to the point where you couldnt have fun. Thought it was just right actually. The back chillout area was awesome.
The production was definitely on point. The lazers were insane. And the 3d wall mapping was just nuts. When they put all those pacman type guys on the walls in the beginning of Maceo's set, I thought the walls were alive.....I was tripping hard |

the production was far better than the first enclave cityfox party i was at.
the music all night was outstanding. the only thing i wasn't impressed with was ten wall's set. he tried to tease us with walking with elephants 5 times during a one hour set. we get it, its your track and huge but please play the god damn thing and move on with the next.
david august was phenomenal. im still trying to process it at this point and have to say the music really took me somewhere else that i haven't been before. the setting. lights and productions was just perfect for it.
it was def worth it for me. im very looking forward to that diynamic showcase now. |

Neonbeats, you were right.. this is the usual Robot Heart Place... I got them confused, and didn't realize the Robot Heart Venue was next door to the Cityfox venue...
Cityfox threw one of their best parties IMO... I left at 7:30am and the place stills seemed packed...
As someone had mentioned... David August had a slower paced set, while it was still good... It just didn't have the energy of earlier sets. |

How was Maceo's set?
Also what is this Diynamic Showcase you speak of?! |

Maceo's set was good. He played all his hits. Feel like he could have went a little harder, but his melodic stuff is great.
Cityfox dynamic party Dec 20
Both warehouses are great. |

Nice party. Although I liked the production of the EnclaveI a bit more. The lasers and the sound were somewhat better that night.
I was very disappointed with the beer sel4ection (well, no selection really, since thats all they had apparently)... samuel Adams? are you kidding me? yuuck
The music... Ten Walls was Ok I guess, altough I missed half of his set but he was fine, nothing crazy. Nuno was good, but he went on the safe side by playing the Hit Parade CD of 2014. I like most of those tracks, but the point of going to see a DJ perform live is to hear a combo of known hits and new fresh stuff. his tracklist was very lazy.
And here is the thing with Maceo plex... I dont find his productions interesting, most of his tracks are kinda gray and have that minute funky element that I cant get into. I prefer his Maetrik alter-ego way more. But BOY did he exceed my expectations as a DJ. His track selection was multi-genre and he plays a bunch of melodic stuff, that, I was not expecting. What made my night though, and will forever be on my memory as one of the best clubbing moments in my life, was hearing this beauty...
What a moment man... I almost cried :( |

At the end of the day in no way shape or form is it worth $70 (or $90) to wait over an hour in line and be packed into a warehouse even with cool lasers and projection visuals.
I liked 10 Walls the best. Love those horn samples and at least he played upbeat despite teasing WWE a few times.
Maceo was ok but he's been playing that same set at his Enter residency for at least the last month. Maybe he should stop posting all his sets to soundcloud.
Nuno was pretty good but agreed he played a lot of pretty well known hits.
Only could make it halfway through David August but that slow tempo just doesn't do it for me, felt like 80 BPM! Haven't really gotten into him or Diynamic in general, is it always that slow?
Sound was great especially since the place was so big. Foam blocks were money, took full advantage of those.
Overall i think I would have had a better impression of the party if it had been $30-$40 and not $70. |

| Personally, I'd easily pay $70 for it. Guess it depends on the person. |

Had a great night and really impressed with the production quality.
Musically;
MATTHIAS MEYER fell super flat at the end. Once the other djs came in the booth it seemed to throw him off and he lost whatever flow he had.
TEN WALLS played all his hit which I was really looking forward too. Really cool to hear it live and him weaving in and out of each track.
MACEO PLEX, I dunno. Everyone rips on DJs for playing the same set and their own music all the time and this is just what he did. Just seems so programmed and 'push play'. While his music is great that is not a real DJ. With someone like Digweed you never hear the same song, let alone the same set month after month. Digweed plays specifically to the room and the crowd. Maceo Plex I've found out does NOT do this. Its super lame and he is dropping on my list. As someone said dl his latest ENTER set and you have what he played that night. |
