exactly! It's funny, I almost exclusively have that CD on at a low volume when I'm Ubering people around Orlando. And I've gotten nothing but compliments and people asking what is that, that music is so good, etc. Can't do that with many other electronic music mixes. You'd get a lot of weird reactions. |

People are slowly starting to get it. That there's more to it than the surface shows.
Reminds me of one of my friends. He's been into that electro crap for years. He came over last week and I was playing some stuff for him. He's like, "Dude, where do you find this stuff? It's so good."
I think a lot of people simply just don't know where to look to find the good stuff. They rely on the clubs to feed them dance music not even knowing how deep it goes. Not that he's going to dig for it himself now, but I considered it a small victory just by him making that comment.
Cause yea, it's not uncommon for people to give you a weird look to some of the we like to listen too, lol.
Totally agree, though. Some mixes are great at spoon feeding the average listeners to the underground. Live in Miami is one of them for sure. |

Dixon is the man. He is amazing. Mano is ridiculous too. I don't think there is a better dj out right now than Mano. His set in Detroit this year was unreal. Made my trip. Then Dixon the next morning at Old Miami. :eyes:
