Definitely needs to be at the pier

Going to fall out of my chair laughing when they release a statement regarding the lineup and how it's been tailored for America, including Avicii, Skrillex, Pretty Lights and a Trap room.

officially november 29th posted by time warp FB account.

dont understand the "very limited capacity" though. where the hell could it be held with a statement like that?

Maybe they meant it was very limited from what the usual Time Warp is like. What are some smaller venues where this could be held? Hammerstein?

hammerstein, melrose ballroom, barclays center

all i know if this ends up being some event that goes from like 8pm-2-3am im definitely out. not wasting my time on an event that ends so early and doesnt go all night like it should. already planning on going to the real time warp in april of next year anyways so id have no problem skipping this if needed, even though im very excited for more info. hopefully they do it up right

with that long and solid history behind them, it would be a shame if another outfit sold out to commercial bull, by watering down adn fluffing up the brand right off the bat.

Ever think WE (as a society here) are to blame?
the pandering down always seems to happen when these things come stateside.

like the movies:

there's prejudice in Europe and elsewhere that Americans don't get non-linear, chronological movies, like Once Upon a Time in the America.
Sad thing is, it;s true, they get re-edited, linearized, and pronto, they do much better.

You can just imagine the -show promoters around here that are the likely candidates to be the US-rep of Time Warp:
"...oh, you wanna do that here? That won't work, here's how you have to do it..."

Def. hoping against all that, counting on this brand to just maintain.

Then, it should be something like a 12+h event.

I can't think of a venue in the city, that can well duplicate the Maimarkthalle multi-rooms, def. the pier woudl be good.

if only the Compound had about 4-5 rooms next to each other... that would be a sweet vibe.

Def. won't get the reentry alas, my p.p.

Gimmebeatz: make sure you keep your eye out for the pre-time warp event at Loft in Ludwigshafen when you go, place is a regional legend...

(2nd posts in ages, kept it short :) )

What about the place where Luciano NYE was a while back. Could that work?
Neonbeats
Hammerstein would be a waste....Barclays even a bigger waste. The only real options are one of the piers or one of the big brooklyn warehouses. Anything else would be a fail.

Just as FYI, Barclays has some sort of NCAA Basketball Classic that night, Hammerstein is hosting OAR, and MSG has a 1 PM Rangers game....
