Yea, I know it isn't exactly the new york times... But, I think it isn't big enough news for the general public. Suffice it to say, it looks reasonably believable that arrests from NYPD are occuring (cuz, if a complaint and proof is presentable, they MUST follow up) and an eventual lawsuit will occur as well.

Totally agree with you, and was thinking the same exact thing when I was watching the video. It just looked like he was pushing a speaker on wheels back to make some room for himself... But the speaker/monitor "fell" back onto the girl... |

What I gather from his "apology" is that he did see her. Prob not with the intention of tossing the speaker at her, but he did went all " bitch don't kill my vibe!
Also being faced when you are a grown ass man with a couple of decades of drug-fueled frenzies, is not an excuse. Dude should know better. |

| don't be so naive please, the dude has 25 of his goons in the booth but one girl taking a video set him off and its just not this event, I've seen him multiple times in space ibiza and he has even more of his squad up there all ing around with drinks and champagne, turning to them and messing around and not interacting with the crowd but them. he pushed the speaker clearly into her on purpose and then turned to his buddies and laughed about it then put his hands in the air. the guy was completely sauced, absolutely no need for it, and secondly the second half of his set blew, dubbing the bass out of every 30 literally. he had no idea where he was up there. Completely ruined the vibe. the people on Facebook probably weren't even there and don't give a , but everyone in my crew of about 15 people kept looking at each other and multiple other people were screaming knock that off with the bass. he could of ended time warp off with a bang instead people are talking about this instead of how good the event was. I understand there shouldn't be iPhones or videos so close to him, but he could of easily told one of his boys to tell her to stop or go over to her and tell her to stop. Instead he puts his back into it and hits the lady with a speaker. if he was so concerned about it he would of checked if she was alright. It was a complete douche move. if you don't think so then you just suck off Hawtin because he's Hawtin. |

| Oh who the cares. He was drunk, wanted to with the girl cause she was being a basic retard, and the ing thing fell into her. She didn't get hurt, just a drunk up by Hawtin, can't believe people are getting so hurt. The only offensive thing is that he got too drunk to play a good set....that happens from time to time, don't really give a about that either cause I just went to Dixon. |

i think there was an issue with the equipment which proved to be frustrating him, he also flipped over the controller/drumpad and was tapping on the laptop screen, i think that explains a lot about the music cutting out. I believe also the infamous speaker/monitor blew which was another reason why he shoved it
I really don't get what everyone is so up in arms about, name calling, saying his career is over, i don't think anyone knows what he was dealing with up there. maybe he was sloshed maybe he wasn't, at the end of the day i had a good time and it really had the feel of a european festival minus the people/crowd
if anything that comes from this, it's some of the most redici chops ever, really brings me back to the golden ages of ta |
