Why not, children's entertainment can still be clever. For me it lies in the sounds that are chosen and how competently they are strung together. Crisp production, good riffs, enough to make it stand out for me as abit of harmless fun with with them curious bleeps and them god darned dirigible basslet bugaboos you see? |

That said, it's positively pathetic seeing supposed credible journalism sources jumping on this sound as something revolutionary and enduring like so much Joanna Newsom. I'm pretty sure that's where all the rabble-rousing in that RA review's stemming from, since their followers try to hold the digi-rag to a higher standard. |

Yah it's weird isn't it. If they'd bothered to turn on MTV for like 10 minutes anywhere in the last 5 years they surely couldn't have listened to this without getting deja vu all over the place.
I mean I have my head planted pretty firmly up my ass and even I know this isn't remotely relevant or original. Cool though. |
