Yea, except NO NWTA really has, and that is generally how people are in the northwest as a whole. We keep to ourselves. I can say though that if we do meet up we generally form really close friendships, like Idoru and I.
I've met lots of people who are NOT NWTAs though. I've met Boomer and a bunch of Cali TAs at Lovefest/Love Parade.
But yea, NWTAs and people in the northwest in general are not overtly social people. |
Sure.

Yea, I've met some cool peeps from FLTA. Always a good time when we get together.
It's nice to meet people who share the love for and have a deep understanding of this music and scene.
Frankly, it's really tough to meet folks like that otherwise. At least around these parts.
People are either into the the commercial EDM garbage or dislike the music altogether.
This scene really is cult-like. It has a following of people from all walks of life, but in the grand scheme of things, that group is small.
So again, it's nice to run into people who 'get it' and share that passion. |

It's true. Google "Seattle freeze". People who move here often find it really hard to integrate. |

| I don't think I've lived in places with many TAs generally. Especially not the past couple years when I was in South Carolina aka the butthole of America. But if I ever did I would be down to hang out with people. |

Do you live there now, JBJ?
Doesn't anyone travel to party any more? DEMF is the perfect party for that, imo. I met and partied with a lot of TAs in Detroit, even Boomer! :D |

| DC (well, Washington) is high on my list of places I want to see. My friend was just there for work and she loved everything about it. |

| I met most of the MTLTAs. It's a close-knit community and Montreal is a relatively small yet vibrant and friendly city, and we love our EDM. An event would be posted on MTLTA, and all of us would end up going and inevitably meeting in person. I also met some TAs from out of town (like Caela, Chimera, YankeeBaby etc..) who would come especially for a major event such as Bal en Blanc. Those were the daze. |

I've only ever met two TAs (Yohan and FuzzQi) but hey, I live in in' Brisbane :p
Edit: Though I did once get a PM from JastiC asking if I was going to a Tiesto gig here at Family nightclub years back :wtf:
