I think I'm the oldest TA vigin here. 23 and ten months and I think I'm about to crack. I'm don't know exactly how I feel. Really confused now b/c I'm debating. Julie as a female what do you have to say about virgin males? Well I'm confident enough about myself and my capabilities I could careless what society's expectation or image of what but the curiousity and temptation is always there.
Someone one toss me a prize I need it or else I die :toothless

| Hey, I'm 23 and 1 month and am I virgin as well. Nothing wrong with it and it's not like it's by choice that I'm one. Just happened to turn out that way. I'm usually shy w girls, not really one to just approach one (even if she smiles etc) so that probably has something to do with it. I think the main thing is because of how I moved into a different neighbourhood when I was 16, had to start over and meet new friends nevermind meeting girls (that's prob why I never had a g/f either, that and the shyness thing):( But I'm happy so far with things...could always be better but I mean I make due with what I have now. |

Same thing as i have to say for virgin females. I dont see being vergin is somthing bad.
As some might think (even some on here on TA) that being a virgin is UNCOOL or that it's somthing you have to get rid of.

BUT i also dont belive that you have to be a virgin till you marry or loosing your virginity is TOTALY an uncool thing
IMO i just think everyone is a virgin..at one point in there life and when you lose it realy doesn't matter. the only thing that matters is that you dont regret it, and that you should do it when you know your self and know that you are ready for it.
for some that might be Loving there partner and for others is lossing it to a hooker
i really belive that if your happy with yourself then you can accomplish a lot of other things

Lost my virginity during my first week at university(that was now 2 years ago) because it was a *cool* thing to do..
well, not that I regret this, but seriously, I'd rather lose my virginity with a girl I love. On the other hand, it's better to be more experienced with the girl you love.. so I dunno... |

Seriously, it's not really a big deal.
I'm glad I lost it to someone I really cared about though, it was just so much better than just having casual sex. I can see how some of you may be worried that you may want some experience before you find that special someone. On this part I'm not too sure what to say.
I honestly don't remember me being too nervous on my first time. At that time everything just felt so right and it helped that my girlfriend was a virgin too.
When the time comes just stop worrying if you're doing everything right and just enjoy yourself and communicate with your partner, you'll enjoy yourself so much more. |

| I'm 19 and I guess you guys know what I am :D I've had the chance to lose it several times (I've got some very funny stories actually), but I want it to be with someone who's really worth it. The person I marry? Maybe, but I'm not gonna lose it with someone I don't love or that I don't feel will spend much time with me... and no, I'm not shy with girls whatsoever :p |

| I lost mine to a slut..ed her in the bathroom of my highschool when i was 17....many sluts have passed since then and when i mean sluts i do honestly mean it....but i still consider myself a virgin sort of....ive never made love to a girl....i see it as this theres two types of sex, "ing" and "making loooooove"..now as for ing ive done it a few times but they never meant ... just i was in the position where i could these chix so i did....now ive never made love with a chick....making love is the full experience of sex so in that respect i still consider myself a virgin...im 20....and the girl in my life i care for the most is 19 almost twenty now and shes still a virgin and i think will be for a while...no shame in it...i actually grew to respect that...it makes it 100x better when it does happen for her and 100% better for me two when i hit that ;) |

there's nothing wrong with being an old virgin
it just means you have to deal with less emotional crap from getting in/out of relationships
more power to you if you can hold it for someone special
