If you're an old virgin, you deal with MORE emotional crap. You realize your worthlessness, the fact that you're a loser.
Yes, there is something wrong with being a virgin -- and I admit that I am (recently turned 22). You lack experience, you're too timid around girls, you have little social confidence. These things are usually related.
And I'll be the first to admit that I have these issues. But you want to know the truth? I just haven't met the right girl yet -- and I've never had a real girlfriend. I had a chance to lose my virginity to a slut -- yes, I had it, but I didn't. Who would respect himself after this? This would have been a terrible "first time." If I were to look back on this as my first time, that would make me feel even more worthless than I feel now.
So, what's better: The feeling that you're a loser because you're still a virgin at 22, or the feeling that you're a loser because you had your first time with a dirty slut?
Not that there's anything wrong with sluts or "easy" girls... I feel they're an important part of society (and plus, there are girls who simply love and enjoy sex, and this is great -- but for some reason society labels them as sluts; the one I was talking about, though, was a real slut). |

| but also the problem is that people in sociey don't seem to care that sex is really best served between two ppl who are married. I think it comes to down to purity, do you want to remain pure for your future mate or not. When I saw 13, i signed a card that i still carry in my wallet to this very day that I pledged to remain a virgin till i get married. It's honestly comes down to personal choice but also culture is very different since we have so many ppl from around the world on this messageboard. Certain cultures, it is common to wait till you get married, some cultures it is not common. I take this into consideration everytime this topic is talked about. Certain religions say you must wait till marriage, certain ppl don't. So my advice is always think ahead before you do something....because every action has some consequence whether we see it now or 10 yrs down the road. |

No offense -- and I respect your choice -- but I disagree with this most strongly. I see absolutely no reason why a person should deprive themselves of such pleasure as sex, as long as it's safe. Besides: It's all part of growing up and gaining experience, not only sexual but also social.
Roughly speaking -- and this is the truth, no matter how much you want to deny this, -- the world is divided into two categories: self-confident experienced people, and shy inexperienced ones. I'm sorry but this is social Darwinism. Some people are stronger in confidence than others, and their life's path is charted much differently than the path of those who suffer from low self-esteem, can't walk up to a girl and strike a conversation, lack experience, etc. |

do you really believe that, along with the advice of the church, you were ready to decide such a thing at the age of 13? you were still just a little kid, and im not saying one way is right or wrong. its just that when I was younger all I ever heard was stupid scare tactics about sex. sure, you gotta be careful - but when youre younger, everyone is more likely to be 'pure' rather than waiting until you are older to bang where there is a higher likeliness of someone having STDs, etc. i also understand it goes beyond that when religion is involved - but a virignal, married couple is gonna have some bad sex|:nervous:

Yep.like Eugene here,I also had a 1-time chance to lose my virginity to a slut,it's the only slut I've ever seen in my life,my friend invited her to his house and did the thing with her,while I was guarding at the window,if in any case his parents gonna show up.
This slut is the only girl so far,that I've seen totally naked standing 1 cm away from me,and damn I had to restrain myself from ing her.It was hard but my common sense won,as I didn't want to make it with a slut for the first time,although she was so damn hot.
It's just that I'm a very shy guy,some girls say that I look nice,but I'm afraid to start up a relationship with girl,because I'm so shy.
