the weight of the matter is such, if a court ruled in the "deniers" favour, the country would ing implode.

the courts are as corrupt as anything else in america. you're another one who thinks they know better than ron paul. you don't.

Rubez..... they're watching you.... keep it secret..... keep it safe.....

Rubez, why don't you accept the 16th Amendment as legitimately allowing the U.S. government to levy an income tax?

I've read around a bit now and I'm pretty sure that even Ron Paul doesn't actually think "there is no law that forces you pay income tax" or that the US government is illegally collecting it.

Rubez, can you please provide a source showing where Ron Paul states these things?

ron paul says there is no law that he can cite - it's implied (already linked to it in this thread somewhere)

he can't cite it out of ignorance, it's because it isn't technically there. i don't think 'implied' is good enough when dealing with the law. it's a case of pay or else. anytime anyone has asked to see the law (when being tried) they haven't been able to produce it. surely it should be your right to see it.

a guy called whitey harrell was found not guilty for not paying his taxes, because the jury couldn't find the law - and the judge failed to provide them with it upon request.

I'm 99.9(repeating)% sure the 16th Amendment is technically there. Why don't you find that acceptable?

amendment. law.

two different things.

constitutional amendment supersedes legislation. i fail to see the point you are trying to make........ but the fact stands, you're wrong.... income tax is legal.....
