There's a delay in the announcment, but someone posted this on KVR. Omni 2.
edit: pic won't post, but it's the Spectrasonics stage with an "Omnisphere 2" backdrop. |

That's reasonable, its hard for me to get on-board with a $3000+ hardware synth even if it is the most awesome synth ever.
I mean, I could buy a crappy car for that :p
Will be interesting to see if it can be used in a similar way as the Pro2 in a modular system. |

I'll be interested to see it, but TBH I'm a little deflated (so far). Omni 1 is still a hell of a synth, and I'd much rather see Stylus RMX updated. But, we'll see what Omni 2 is all about and hope that they also announce Stylus RMX2. |

I know that ROland stuff looks ridiculous, although the architecture of the JDXA is interdasting.
I'm getting keener on the AIRA range with the new MX1 as well, it's a pretty clever little concept that speaks to the man with a DAW that wants a little bit of hardware too. |
