Is that seriously the reason? Because playing one track out normally while you unplug it is too much of a hassle dj's these days? WTF :whip:

I mean I get the convenience, but to add probably $500 in parts just so the next DJ can plug it in while the other is playing is absolutely ing insane.

I suppose you kind of have to include the DVS crowd. It will be quite the feat of they get both to certify.

I can imagine Marcus Wyatt and the rest of the Deep crew being all over this ;)

Damn, the more I look in to this mixer, the more bonkers the spec is.

You can change the crossover points of the EQ's, filters and the main master crossover by connecting it to your PC via USB :eyes:

The bit I don't like however is them comparing it to the likes of bozak etc, even their previous rotary mixer - reason being this is a purely digital mixer. It takes the analogue signal, converts it, then effects it and spits it out as digital.

This is not what all those legends were built on so it's a case of slightly pegging themselves to all this amazing analogue gear by announcing a digital mixer.

Granted, they've really gone out of their way to source incredible components, but some of the claims are not legit; they state that this is the only mixer (ever) to have 116db signal to noise.

Not true - the top end vestax mixers from the early 00's such as the PMC 55 and CX 500 have 120db signal to noise.

I think it's going to be one of the best mixers made, but they check the hype a little lol.

they seemed to never be with what people want.

the thing people want at least in the last year or 2 are those 80s synths. It really doesn't take much to feel a trend comming. Don't they hire people to just browe KVR and gearslutz.

OP - X remake - winner
Roland d50
Roland jd 800

basically when daft punks 80s meets 70s album was pretty much named album of the year, you would think companies would be going , hmmm, i mean you have to be in before bruno mars or you should be firing your marketing team.

aira is neat but so done to death. They should of used 1 console for what essentially is the same.

They need to start accepting that if you don't release a plugin to control it and some IOS / android controller as well, you should not be in business. It would take a competent russian 80 hours to do that. They are just so clueless. Bunch of Rush loving white guys that don't even realize tom sawvyer used the obx.

I feel like they get a few full sail graduates and ask them what the industry needs

How about one with only one soundcard for $500 less?

EDIT: in fact, how about one without any soundcard, and just make the soundcard options?

Would probably bring the price down by about $1000.

It sounded like the Waldorf q programmed by a white guy that loves poison. Bland and redundant.

They guy kept saying it sounds like it has fx. That is what you call mud .

You think this might replace the 900nexus as the industry standard or xone.

I would suggest that if you can buy the Modulus, then buy it now.

They'll probably sell about 100 of them before they go bust so will obviously go up in value when the idiots at GS mourn the demise of the synth they were never interested in when it was available new.
