I went yesterday for about an hour, so I didn't get a chance to see a lot of the stuff I wanted to see. I'm going back tomorrow. But here's some of the stuff that caught my eye.

Woooooooddddyyyyy!!!! How come we only hear from you during NAMM? :p

Yeah, it does. I'm not even a DJ and I want one. |

I nearly fell of my chair when I saw your pic! If this is the same quality as their legendary rack mount unit, then this may be the only mixer I've actually wanted since I got my Vestax PMC 55. |
:D:D:D
This is supposed to be THE BEST MIXER RANE HAS EVER BUILT! That's according to Rane themselves. It has a lot of features never been seen in a DJ mixer. Check out this walk through video.

Seriously, NAMM is shaping up to be the best I've ever seen,
|
Absolutely
I'm really liking the sound of the JDXa as well, or rather the specs. 4+4 voicing with 4 analogue and 4 supernatural voices with an 8 channel step sequencer and a proper knobby interface. It just looks ing awful.
Looking forward to its official launch at MEsse. |

Had no idea. If it's over a g, I might as well save up for another beloved Juno 106.
It doesn't seem to have that warmth of a 106 or Polysix, doe.

Hmmmm, still very interested but a couple of thngs he said just don't make sense.
Why does it need two soundcards? Why does each sound card need to have 14 record ins and 10 outs?
It's ing beautiful and to quote Dave from a previous year "both it and me are now sporting some serious wood".
The sub routing is minimally useful though - apart from apply the filer on the bussed channels, I can only think of a few niche situations where the buss group feature will actually be useful.
I've got a nasty feeling this mixer is going to be $3k.....:nervous:
EDIT:
SRP.....
Wait for it.......
$3499 :eyes: |

That's the current trend on the Serato world right now. All the new Rane mixers & the Pioneer DDJ SZ have this. It makes it easy for DJ's to make the switch or to go back to back with each other while using Serato. Even though this mixer is not targeted towards the Serato crowd, they do wanna capatilze on it and are working out a deal to make it part of the new Serato Club Kit (aka Serato Certified) & Traktor Certified.

I've been lurking. :stongue::stongue::stongue:
I stopped trying to produce almost or over a year ago so I've just been lurking. But lately I've been getting the bug again, so you'll be seeing more of me again.
