Hope all that went had fun seeing Sasha and Fortier. I did not make it because I've suffered gastroenteritis which takes 7-10 days to recover and I'm on day 5 I believe. As I stated before, hope you all had fun.

Opening sets kind of ok, energetic..
Sasha = very boring. Hell, he was bored himself. One of my friends was in disbelief and asked "Who the hell is this guy? And where is Sasha?" then went closer to check up.
Very repetitive and no energy. Vibe was very weak. The place was half-empty.
There was no line-up at all when we came in around 1:30.
All I got to say is thank god I didn't pay to get in.
Fantom, thank you so so much for keeping me company, u saved my night. I haven't laughed like that in a long time, my cheeks hurt :D :D

Oh, yeah.. and that sound system was baaaaaaaaaaaaaad.. it was echoeing all over, you couldn't hear the music, just that annoying monotonous beat. And why did they put up all the railing with lasers and lights when they didn't intend on using them all night???

I highly doubt Sasha was the problem; it was likely the venue..

I drove by Guv at 12:30 and there was like 20 people in line to get in Kool Haus; I have no idea what happened...

From the sounds of it, Sasha disapointed last night.. You guys should have been at Fergie!! He was awesome!

First of all, Ferry was amazing! :p As for Sasha, Durafei told me that it may be disappointing so I decided to save my money and not go :). I'm sure someone must have enjoyed this party though. So everyone that went please post your experiences :)

Brunette said it all... it was just too dissapointing.

And we didn't get in that late, now did we? I thought it was like 12:30-12:45 when we got in... (brunette, sorry about the "wait" outside).

And yeah, there was no lineup for this (GUV lineup was looking good as usual, we should've went there). The first couple of hours, filled in by Luke Fair, were all right, on occasions really great (some of those tracks were just sick, like "Whaaaat?")... and that's about it. Sasha (I think it was him) came on, stunk the place up, even tho we gave him plenty of chances to catch up and blow the place up. But no, that didn't happen. As I said last nite, it must have been that Colombian cold that he caught backstage (*sniff *sniff) that prevented him from performing up to his standards. Then again, the sound system was tuned so bad, and we left early (around 4am), so he might have actually picked up later on in the night...

If it wasn't for that "persuasive" cutie that I spent the night with, last night would've been one of the most disastrous nights ever...

Next up --> Digweed, Nov. 29th (if I remember the date on those posters on the KoolHaus very well)

For me Sasha was amazing. Technically the way he mixes tracks and what he does with some of the sounds is unreal.

I could see how the crowd needed more from him and he did not give it up, but musically the man is a genius.

I loved ferry last week and I really enjoyed Sasha last night, but seeing what sasha does with the mixers and processor that he had was way above what ferry was doing last week.

I was suprised at the turn out, busy, but not overly packed for the guy rated number on DJ in the world. Not enough electronically educated individuals in Toronto, i think.

Nice to see swamper, tatgirl (as usuall I need those pics), mecha, e-master, trancearmada, sooper (youll pay for back therapy), jay-jay(i think, sorry I could not hook it up), special K, anyone else I forgot I apologize.

Edited here - Guvernment has a superstar DJ every week - It was hard to leave the booth at guvernment to make our way over to sasha cause first Oliver was throwing sick house beats - nothing like drugs rock and roll, bad ass vegas hoes, late night booty calls and those shinny disco balls ( i know its over played but I love that tune and that oliver was spinning it) - then came the sweet trance, in this order:

PVD - 4 an angel (some remix)
Energy 52 - Cafe del mar
Joker Jam - Innonence
Another Classic (could not remeber the name, off perfecto label)
Eon- Pocket Damage

Had to run away after that cause soop and I were afraid we would not leave Guv. When I went back at like 4 or 5 was nice progressive with a strong crowd going hard...nice to see Guv picking it back up again.

peace,

solo

Wow....I'm glad I didn't go...

I normally like Sasha too....but the last time he came with Digweed he seemed real mellow too, minus the "Age of Love" they dropped which was amazing.

I kinda had a feeling that without Digweed he'd be a little soft.

Too bad, but at least I saved a few bucks. :clown:
