It was, most TOTAs got stuck in the will call cluster. VIPs have a separate entrance, but still have to line up with everyone else to even get their wristband in the first place.
I was smart and grabbed mine immediately upon crossing the border around 1pm. The lines were big then, but nothing compared to what everyone else had to endure. We waited 10, maybe 15 minutes?
Walking right in after we got ready, etc was glorious. :gsmile:
Robert Hood (Floorplan), KiNK, Recloose, and Kerri Chandler all the best of the day for me. Fuuuuckkkk. So good Jesus Christ. |

| Dixon and Carl Craig for me. Reading that there were four hour waits for wristbands, sounds like bpm this year, couple blemishes on otherwise pretty amazing festivals |

| Okay I'll go Cuz I'm on dat hotel wifi. Only techno so far for me. Day one cell injection was my fav. Day two was at the berghain stage. I left to puke my brains out and pass out as marcel dettmann was finishing. I missed ben klock and my friend said he was better. My fav set that day www by steffi. Her versatility was really good and a nice change from the standard pounding stuff. By the end she set up rodhad so well. Rodhad was dope and marcel as well. But cell injection day one floored me hard. Even Regis. I went to an after party at a warehouse for deepchord and all the DJs there were ing dope too my goodness. They had no liquor or water so went on a mission to find some. Ended up in the wrong part of town and just cabbed back to the hotel. So after I pass out yesterday until about 12-1 my friend gets back and tries waking me. He fails. He puts on songs he claims and I'm still KOd and a drexciya track comes on. I woke da up and went to the robert hood n Nina party. Good god he was ing dope. My fav set of the weekend so far. Cell injection my fav festival set just to clarify. Nina played dome uninspiring techno. She was wearing some weird clothes but she's pretty cute. I met a bunch of cool people so far and the festival has been top notch |

Old Miami holding it down as usual. Day 3 was all about motherin Ben UFO, wowowowoww. But I knew it would be! Almost gapped it that Squarepusher was closing out one of the stages (RBMA) and made it for the last 30-40 mins of his show. Playing a bass guitar and sampling + looping the out of it, then he'd just mash the low end in, all the while a pretty break weaving through. Ffffffuuuuuuu. I would love to hear music + sounds the way it must sound to him. What an amazing dork.
Also went To Rebel Rave at City Club, showed up late thinking Thuger had already been on (my main reason for going, really) to find out they were just starting. Holy in universe thank you. They crushed it. Francesca Lombardo played great vibey grooves, but unfortunately was just RAPING the sound system. Ughhhh. Why people gotta crank the low end?? Amateurs, Jesus. So yeah her. Three closed it down proper though. Crisp and clean, excellent vibe. |

Welp, that was fun.
Dixon afterparty was dope as . He crushed it.
Old Miami was on point, good people, good friends, great music. Weather was great.
I think I had the most fun on Monday, such a great day friends and some fun sets. I really really enjoyed Kolsch, that was my highlight.
Ten Walls was great, lots of dancing. Maceo's set wasn't the best I've heard from him, but it was still tons of fun.
I also had tons of fun at Joris closing Beatport. Great tracks, awesome ending track. |

| Hey guys I'm still here. I'm hiding out in an abandoned warehouse too scared to come out . |

It was my first time there, and I had a blast.
highlights were
-Stacey Pullen(guy never disappoints)
-Gaiser
-Capriati
-and easily the best set for me was Dubfire.
I've heard him at least 10 times, and have never heard anything like that before.
We knew we were witnessing something special when Stacey Pullen was dancing
his ass off behind Dubfire.
I could have done without method man as he didn't really seem to fit the bill. Loved him
with Wu Tang, but there's a time and place.
We really wanted to catch snoop, but we were way too tired by that time. I heard he drew a massive crowd.
if my old body doesn't fail me by next year,I'll definitely go again. Probably stay at one
of the hotels a little closer to the party though. I found traveling 15mins to our hotel was
a little annoying, and I would rather have the option of heading back to my room for some food, and a drink when I want. |
