i hate excessive police power as the much as the next guy but i think its really not clear whats happening.

I see an unarmed man shot which i am going to assume was based on some sort of assumption he was reaching for the officers gun which should not have been drawn or have the safety off. He is resisting. Being tazed generally makes you rabid. Apparantly it was over a tent. Nice .

LA is going to burn again, regardless of fault. This is going to be a catalyst/excuse for it.
The guy screaming in the camera has a diverse vocabulary.
Either way, get ready for riots.

That video bums me out.

Someone on reddit did an analysis of the video with some sceen shots:
Looks like the homeless guy went for one of the officer's guns.

Seems the police acted fairly given the circumstances.
What I dislike in all this is when people who would otherwise not even notice the homeless are crying police brutality here. In fact, most are only focusing on the actions of the police, which only points out the current obsession of the American society.

EDIT: Nvmd. The mofo was in the middle of a robbery.

Guy from India visiting his son. He's wandering through the neighborhood, cops confront him and he doesn't speak english, and they break his neck.

You think that given the nature of the problem, they could of de escalated the situation without any violence? A person being tazed will usually not be in control and spasm. The circumstances are not known. Unarmed man, 9 officers. The fact a gun is used to me shows that either they need to re evaluate their procedures or send someone to jail.
