Being a mid age male sucks

Had my first prostate and testicuclar cancer check. By a nice old middle age woman doc who was rather... vigorous in her probing. I feel rather violated actually.

Don't get old if you're a guy. like this happens to you

Yeah well you're smart for doing it while you're still a "young" middle aged guy. Men are the worst for having check ups, doing (what should be) routine blood work, and generally acknowledging their health and wellbeing. Ignoring it doesn't mean it's not gonna happen, it just means when you actually find out, it might be really bad or too late. See it all the time.

this is going into my book as stupidest smart thing I do every year, like going to the dentist every 9 months. Spanish inquisition is more fun than this :p

Indeed. Causes cardiovascular disease when left unchecked.

I'm no dentist, but wouldn't your diet lead you to having teeth lead you to having cardiovascular disease?

I think the most important thing is to know your body. We all get pains and aches, but knowing which one is THE one will save you.

Listen to your body. Feel it out - literally.

No, seriously, if you're a woman CHECK YOUR BREASTS RIGHT NOW and if you're a male TICKLE YOUR BALLS RIGHT NOW.

Seriously though, the less I know the better. I'm too ing sensitive to find out something's wrong with me to not let it kill me.

Let me live in my disillusion of immortality, lol.

It actually is in relation to the bacteria associated with tooth decay - it can get into the blood stream and lead to endocardi.

Additionally, and on a more basic level - poor dental health can affect eating and digestion, and therefore nutrition. Another seemingly simple and obvious thing that many people take for granted.
