I wasn't gonna say anything but I did that last time lol. We moved a picnic table into position that gave us the best possible view and ended up dancing on and around it. It sounded really decent most of the time too.
They had security and cops patrolling the perimeter with mixed reactions. Some smiled and talked with us, others seemed unimpressed/unfazed. One guy yelled at us when we were too close to the fence but he backed off later. I assume he was told we were on public property no matter how close we were and he had no authority. Their only job is to prevent people hopping the fence. Originally I only did this because I'm cutting my spending down to one party a month and I already did Danny T so it was either this or not go at all. In the end, I'm glad I didn't pay because as mentioned earlier in the thread - the music wasn't impressive at all to say the least. The only set worth anything was Pan-Pot.
I'd recommend this method to anyone that thinks their ticket prices have gotten too high. Not only do you save the money, but you have freedom to drink and eat what you want at grocery store/lcbo prices. Just be mindful of the security/police presence. You're also not crammed into a huge crowd (if that bothers you) and you access to REAL washrooms that have absolutely no line. I wouldn't be surprised if they increased the height of the fence because of us but that wouldn't deter me because I'm there for the music, not to see a DJ push buttons. The view from our spot was surprisingly good. You could see the light show (at an angle) and make out who was on stage. Random people passing by stopped to join us for a quick dance before moving on. |

Q: Who earns a higher income? Average attendee at Cherry Beach or average attendee at EI? |
Based on the age group of EI attendees, I would say the average attendee at Cherry Beach. I bet most EI people are living hood rich on credit.
Why does this matter though? |

$50 isn't a bad price per say, but the parties add up... the experience of being inside is great, but if I have my friends and can hear the tunes than I'm good...
I really want to go to bestival but might have to settle for jamming outside as well...
eh whats wrong with being hood rich on credit lol |
