That's a pretty bold statement to make based on one quote.

The fact you can't even tell when someone is sticking up for you shows that nobody is "hiding behind" anything, you just lack the vocabulary of an educated adult.

Your problem is that you simply cannot comprehend that people might have a different opinion to you. You assume we must be basically lying to ourselves, we must be being "elitist" and worrying about what other "elitists" think of us. You think that really we must agree with Matt Sanity and the only reason we don't say it is because we have too much "pride" to admit our real feelings in public.

This is a basic lack of confidence in your own taste and opinions. You can't handle people criticising things you like so you try and rationalise it in this solipsistic manner. If you genuinely like this track and think it's great then just ing listen to it. You don't have to make these silly little threads where you resurrect a TA debate from 2003 in the hope that this time you can swing everyone to agree with your opinion.

There's plenty of music I like that gets ripped on by drum 'n bass snobs or purist techno heads or knows who else. Do I care? No. Everyone hates something. I have a group of mates who I go clubbing with and one of them hates trance, another one hates breaks and I hate minimal techno. There's always some DJ or record that one of us loves and someone else s on, and vice versa. People have different opinions. Grow some balls and get the over it.

That still resonates...

i never thought this tune had any impact - on anything, other than being a huge anthem at the time. that's about it... isn't it?!

can't think of many tracks that have aged worse than this, it conjures up the worst in dance music. i can visualise the jesus pose at the very thought of it.

there are loads of tracks with big supersaws in them, they don't all age badly - far from it. this one is just pretentious as .

i like how OP embeded the track, like we need reminding :stongue:

I actually had no idea what it sounded like, probably because I was never a big fan. Now I can judge accordingly.

I find it hard to believe you would actually go over to someone in real life and start ripping on people like you do here. I may make silly threads here and there but that's how I've been posting for over a decade. And I could see why this thread is dated, as it's perfectly normal to tear Airwave to shreds on a god damn trance forum.

Send JonDC a PM asking him what happened when we bumped into terrible UK trance DJs Hiddenagenda flyering outside a club a few years back. When you've found out, come back and tell me what the hell your point is.
AlphaStarred
him up, Matt. I'll tell you where he lives.

You seem to have snapped out of your iboga trance somewhat.

No, but often when I search for 'Laurent' I get Rank 1 in the results.
