That is disrespectful. That happens frequently.

Donne's right though. That's the club's responsibility to handle that . Whether it's not overcrowding the club or exercising crowd control inside of it.

Again how is this an attendees fault? They went out, paid their entry, paid for their drinks to have a night out dancing. That's what they do.

Again blame the venue for overcrowding, they are the decision makers on how many people are inside.

People blame the venue all the time. Bitch about it on social media too. But you can't boycott every venue when there's a limited amount. And the acts you want to see are not playing more than once or twice a year.

Some people are rude, bump into everyone, spill drinks, get all up in your and just don't care and that is annoying. Some people are too cool for school, won't smile dance or do anything besides try to look cool while looking at their phones. I don't like that either. There is a happy medium of people who dance act friendly, and enjoy themselves while respecting the other people in the club.

I'm pretty sure NYC dance history is huge in clubs and has been going about this for decades. Again overcrowding is the venue's problem. Telling people they can't dance on the dance floor because you don't want to move, or don't want to be bumped, or don't want a dance circle near you, just seems so out of place. People do this in miami, I gladly move out of the way because these people are having fun, bringing energy to an otherwise non moving dance floor.

If you have the right to call them disrespectful for dancing in a place that's meant for dancing then they have that same right to call you disrespectful for telling them not to dance in a place that is specifically meant for what they are doing.

You know how you stop the over crowding. Call the fire marshall and tell them the damn place is over capacity. Venue gets fined and hopefully won't risk it again.

See my last post. There is a happy medium where you can do it without pissing everyone off and ruining their time but sometimes it is just too crowded for that .

I'm just trying to show both sides of the argument here. The happy medium is where everything needs to be, which is tough but maybe instead of bitching about we as clubbers and patrons can guide the younger generation a bit to proper club etiquette.

We all learned from the generation above us, why isn't our generation doing the same?

I agree with that 100%.

The cold, unfriendly "hipster" attitude is a vibe killer.

Maybe our whole generation needs to take a step back and re-evaluate the type of clubber we are and how we pass down to the next generation.

We were all young, dumb, listened to music and acted like ****s at one point but someone above us taught us the right way.

It's the worst. My mom even asks me about some of my videos playing "why don't people dance? are they even having fun?"

Full disclosure I am 25 and have only been clubbing for 4 years. But I don't disagree with the sentiment.
