Yeah they were stoked on seeing that. My good friends from Jersey I have known for ages now.
The label is still building, but slowly but surely they will start doing things out here and not just Jersey and Miami.
I can't wait till they come out here. They played at my birthday party down here in SD a few years ago. I think thats the last like Al has been out here. Joeski has came out recently to the west coast with in the past few years. |

I was at both MMW and BPM this year and let me just say Miami beats the ever loving out of Playa Del Carmen. Outside of the lineup every other element of BPM is trash.
The one off jungle parties in Tulum are cool though. |

Having been to both several times, I almost think it boils down to personal preference.
I feel like, WMC/MMW is an iPhone and BPM is Android phone. Boils down to what you want and like. But when in reality, MMW and the iPhone is KING!!!! :tongue3 |

I was curious to what BPM_PHL thought. I've been to both as well but I'd like see what things in particular that made Miami better?
Miami:
1. You're still in the US
2. Hotter women!!!
3. Miami is a cool city with lots of history
4.
5.
PdC:
1. PdC is great little town to visit
2. Everything is cheap
3. DRUGS!
4.
5.
I thought I'd never go back to WMC/MMW but from the sounds of it, things are changing in the right direction. Still sounds like that week is expensive as but sometimes you have to pay to play. |

I've been to both also. I'd prob go w/ Miami also. Just more comfortable there.
Mexico is Mexico. Nice to visit every once in a while, but feels like you are getting hustled left and right. Non stop solicitation everywhere you go. |

We just mail a package to the Hotel in Miami every year. I refuse to be the one to pick it up, but it hasn't failed us yet, lol. |

I know people that do this every year as well. Or they send it to someone they know out there before hand. But if you already know someone out there (they probably have a plug?), sometimes easier going through them. Just might be more expensive.
What I understand (from working in a national park in federal land with closely along with all the mail carriers) is that if it were to actually "make it" you're pretty much in the clear.
Most of the times they get intercepted on the way, and they are gone and just a violation or letter or whatever shows up.
When I worked in Yellowstone (federal land, weed is a Misd.), I want to saw about 20% of the mail coming into the park for employees was weed from "back home." Other stuff made it as well obviously, but in the two years I worked it was all success stories about receiving it. The idiots were usually getting caught by the rangers smoking it after they had received it, but thats another story.
I could be wrong though, I'm just sharing what I noticed the 2 years i was out there. |
