Do I buy a multi day pass or not buy a pass?

We are gonna be there from Jan 7-14th, but it looks like I have to buy passes in specific blocks of time :\ WTF. I guess I could buy a 3 day opening pass but what if all the clubs suck those 3 days or I only want to go to certain nights, Is there any benefit to buying a pass vs tickets?

This was my dilemma last time - I went with a 3 day weekend (for the last weekend) pass as I was there for 9 days. I attended events before my pass would allow me too and I'm glad it worked out for me because door prices were between $15-25 which in the end worked out to be less than a 7 day pass.

What I also did that you're going to have to wait for is wait until they release the lineup/show dates and jump on it as soon as they are on sale. I only bought 2-3 presale for shows with the big names.

I plan to do the same thing again this time around.

I've gone every year since its launch. Big benefit for me is being able to go from event to event with zero line having a wristband. You simply just waive the wristband and are in immediately. Its certainly a plus and it ACTUALLY works the way it should.

If you are going to be there the entire time Id buy a wristband for simplicity. If you want to save money than buy individual passes.

another strategy is to show up early or quite late to avoid the lines.

this past year a few parties hit occupany and you couldn't get buy tix at the door... and had to wait a while if you had hard tickets.

True. BPM has gotten big, almost too big. Hence good to arrive early or super late even with the bands - for certain parties.

I wouldn't expect individual tickets until december

Is there a certain radius or intersection that would be a good center point to start searching airbnb or hotels with?

Yes... Find the club "Blue Parrot" and work around that. Everyone goes to Blue Parrot. It's like the Avalon of PdC. Crackies n all!

Not sure if i am remembering correctly, but I recall paying around $220 for the 3 day closing weekend wristband last year. Definitely agree that it does work how it should and its nice to be able to party hop without waiting on any lines. But $350 is quite a big jump from $220. Most expensive individual party i bought outside of the closing weekend was like $30, seems you'd have to hit a lot of events to get your money worth. Unless they plan on significantly increasing individual party prices this year which looks like it may be possible based on the wristbands.

Pretty much

I would love to buy a pass to get the "ins and outs"and "no lines", but at that price you really have to party non stop. Since I can only drag my wife to a couple events, its just not worth it for me :\
