She could just be having a bad day/week/month and acted like an "entitled bitch" momentarily, but there's no reason to believe that's her "normal". It could be something of a freak occurrence.

People have been fired for less (Ex: Donglegate)

But any good company will keep her and get her two things:

-Therapy
-Rehab (Or counseling of some kind specializing in sobriety)

This doing two things:

-Halting any further controversy by publicizing these actions of getting her help
-Legitimately getting her help because no normal person would do this (Even when intoxicated.)

I'm tired of social media crusades trying to get people fired. It just solidifies my belief that social media has killed the internet.

I don't think people really think about what it means to lose one's job over like this. It's more than a job, it's someone's entire livelihood. Bills, mortgages, kids to feed, etc etc. It's sickening the way people want to kick someone when they're down.

Eh, the only people I have seen act like that much of a dick when drunk were pretty much s on the regular, too. Doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to keep doing their job, though.

She doesn't deserve to lose her job but nothing wrong with a good internet shaming. They'll probably suspended her for a couple of weeks until the media has moved on to something else. Not sure if she learned anything considering she was able to buy and cry her way out of it.

Not really. All they need to do is test your hair. Piss tests are old news. A hair test will show drug consumption even way after it is out of your urine.

But the hair tests are way more expensive so the only places that do it are either high security clearance jobs or places dealing with controlled substances, in which cases, you really shouldn't be working there with recent drug history.

Anyway, there's hair products to get around that now or the trusty old clippers. Can't test what you don't have :gsmile:

I agree, she is clearly a raging, entitled bitch in her off hours, but she might well be a good doctor.

Totally ing agree. She's a doctor. She knows what alcohol does to the body. She attacks the guy, tries to drive a car under the influence and trashes it.

I don't buy that she paid him off to not press charges; she's broken at least 3 laws (probably closer to 6 offenses) and she's on camera. unless there's some weird state law where this was filmed, the DA has to press charges with or without the victim testimony. Uber might have to press charges themselves for violence against one of their drivers.

Her career is over; can't be a 3 time felon and still a doctor.
