beards (pg. 4)

I don't really get the whole pampering thing. To me, shaving is just another chore. It's actually kind of a shame that I can't stand having a beard, or I'd probably grow one just to avoid having to shave every couple of days, lol.

Shaving the underside at the bass of is the hardest place to shave. Note: I've not attempted to shave my gooch or buttcrack /

I honestly don't know. For some reason my mental image of you just wouldn't accept the beard.

Safety razors are pretty cool. Used them before.

I used a straight razor for a while because I thought it was a pretty cool concept, and it gave me the closest shave I've ever experienced, but since my hands now shake so much due to various problems I had to get rid of it because if you don't have steady hands you can seriously hurt yourself using one.

I've considered joining that dollar shave club thing I see on Facebook, does anyone here use that service?

I started off with a straight razor. I loved the look and idea of it but it was too inconvenient to make it feasible. I have a steady hand but I never could really master it. Safety razor is piece of cake in comparison. I buy my supplies from West Coast Shaving they've got low prices and large selection.

Cool.

Yeah it was an inconvenience, but it made me feel like a cowboy! Not to mention the damn thing cost $150 + the leather and stuff. :wtf:

I get a beard trim once every 10 days now. Trying to grow it to a specific style.

Anyways beard essentials is a beard comb, beard oil and beard wax or you will start to look homeless.

My beard is pretty long now I will post a pic of it once I take one. But I have an older one of when I was growing it out. Don't mind me I don't usually take selfies but the girls I was with kept bugging me to take one of all of us. Women and photos I don't get it.

I wish I could contain my beard and make it look good. Maybe if I try some of the products Mr. Vivid uses it might work out...

My problem is that I get the beard to a certain length and it looks good for 3 days then looks too long and shabby. I've tried a bunch of different beard trimmers (electric) but I guess I just suck a at keeping it at the desired length/thickness.

Also, the area of my face where I would grow a goatee grows alarmingly fast compared to the rest of my face and neck. :wtf:
