Got my $100 pass and could've gotten $135 corporate rate at Double Tree but we loved the Uber/Candlewood combo better this year. Massive kitchen and dishes and tons of free parking at $80/night

Sikk deal, but I don't eat enough and have too much running around that weekend to not be within walking distance of most hotels and the festival that weekend.

Yeah, love being near all the action! 4am gyros at Plaka yummmmm.

Recovery, withdrawal, grieving...all appropriate ways to feel still. :p

I still miss it, it's literally the best 72 hours of my life. And I one day, intend to make it through to the 72nd hour on this planet. I've been further, but there are only stories, shakey bassy videos and blurry incriminating photos to validate this claim.

I miss it basically until tickets go on sale again in the fall, when I've juuuuuust about forgotten all about it. Worst party crush. *le sigh*

well first things first i went to subway afterwards because it was right there and that was the wrong choice.

- arrived at the party pretty late. claude young was playing already, he was the highlight of the night. smooth mixing, going from house to techno with ease. and at the beginning it sounded like there was some funk and disco songs in there. he was scratching with his elbows and doing next turntable moves. it all sounded smooth and good. when stingray came on the room kind of emptied a little. he was dope, but his set didn't flow to well. he had a lot of poor transitions. he would go from a slower sounding electro song into some of his urban tribe stuff that would be like 140 bpm, and it didn't really translate for me. almost all the songs he played were fire, and i enjoyed his set but it just wasn't cohesive. it was really nice to hear lots of electro. i was sweating profusely!. ahhhh, the detroit guys bring it better than everyone else though
