Well . Was toying around/window shopping for a new laptop as I was running Vaio care on mine. Doesn't the in thing freeze up. Can't even ctrl+alt+delete my way out of it. Looks like I'm getting a new laptop sooner than I anticipated. Prob gonna go with the Zenbook! Another Vaio would be my preference, but they don't distribute them in Canada anymore, and the one place I know to get one from in the US... well it's just not worth the cost or hassle to get one. *sigh*
I did know this day was coming though, which is why I backed all my up onto an external. Hah.
Edit: just found a great deal on a Zenbook! Purchased!

Hahaha omg is my laptop ever ed. Stuck in a boot loop again. Last time this happened (which prompted me to back everything onto the external) it took literally all day to correct itself. |

Yes, becuase when you use the Manufacturer's care program and the computer software freezes on you, formatting that bitch, just spend $1k on a new laptop.
I suppose that's what keeps these companies in business. They don't even have to make the hardware malfunction these days.

as much as i like to blame jenny for tiring out the Packers every pre-season- it's an 8-year old laptop. laptops age like dogs. her system is almost as old as my dad's balls. |
