| Saturday here, and I've really done all. This is likely due to earlier consuming what must have been close to my body weight in sushi. But I'm ok with this. |

I'm so happy, had something of a confidence boost at work.
I was feeling down, and then I was chosen as the patron of both classes of '17 (1st and 2nd semesters). I was pretty surprised, until I realised I was the adviser of a third of the students, which I guess is no mean feat. Then the missus and I went to celebrate in our favourite all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant, where she can have as much sushi as she wants and I get to devour their "cheese & fries".
I don't really get why it is on the menu, at all. But, if they have it, someone's gotta order it, right?

Still in Leeds. Only about a mile away, actually, but that isn't making life much easier. The long term aim is to save money and have somewhere to park a car, but all I seem to be doing is spending more and more money on the move and on acquiring the car.
And pizza is definitely on the agenda for tonight. There's a proper dodgy, greasy takeaway round the corner from our new place, the kind that will sell you 3000 calories for five quid. So this weekend will ultimately feature some poor quality cheese. |

| Not passed yet, Stu. My test is on 3rd November. Just forking out money for lessons and tests, and setting aside more money for insurance etc. The only reason I'm learning is to get a promotion at work, but until I get that promotion it's just more outgoings with no more income. |
