Paul van Dyk too "snotty" to have his GK Ireland set broadcast????

Dont shoot the messenger. :)
I emailed the radio station who did the broadcasts for Godskitchen Ireland on the 19th to find out if they were ever gonna broadcast Paul van Dyks and Ferry Corstens sets. Here is the reply I got. Kinda interesting.
Here is what I sent them.

Sounds like a pretty respectable reason to me.
You ever hear anything about Laurent Veronnez almost cancelling his artist album b/c of early radio rips? I think Paul van Dyk is entirely justified in not wanting his new material to be ripped off of a live set but to be fully enjoyed in a club atmosphere, and then enjoyed when the album is actually released. |

I also respect his reasons. Armin also mentioned in an interview that he didnt want to play his new tunes on the radio because they will be ripped as an mp3.

Theyll have to get ing used to it! Biting the hand that feeds them. If they would stop being so ing exclusive and "oh look what ive got, no one else has it". Stop wingeing about it, ur getting ur 10 grand for 2 hrs in work. How the can they lose sales from radio rips ? Ive never ever came across a 12" that contains radio rips of tunes. people want the full rip so they are still going to buy it when its released. i dont know anyone whos happy to sit with a radio rip when there is a full version available.
Who cares if there are radio rips flyin round the net, nobody has or will press half assed radio rips on a 12" that arent the full version. Whats the point? no one would buy them if they were pressed.
