I was going to post and say that I've just burnt CD 27 of my MP3 collection, but instead my CDRW has completely buggered itself.
Oh well..
I decided to organise some files into specific genres to see how easy it was.. spent at least 15 minutes trying to decide what constitutes Hard Trance, Hard Dance, Hardstyle, or just uptempo progressive... |

down load a program called Mp3-Tag Studio it work the when it comes to renaming mp3 and editing ID3 tags!

I download my stuff and then rename them to artist - song name (remix name).mp3
Them I use a program called tag scan to rename the tags to the file names.
after that I burn them to cd and use a program called mp3-collector from collectorz.com. I find this a very usefull program to catalog my mp3's. |

| Are there any programs that will allow me to add the same comment to every single MP3 I have? Because I tag all my MP3s with "Part of TeKnoHe@d2025's MP3 collection" and doing it manually is a pain in the ass. |

| I have an access database which has the info in, as in CD Number, Artist, Title, Size in Megs, Bitrate, Time and then ignore the character limit warnings. If I get stopped from burning a CD then I take out some info (ie the rippers name, group name from the filename) that usually fixes things up. |

I sort all the incoming traxx chronological now (put each track in a folder with the download-date). The older traxx are sorted in many different ways.
I have 100 gb (more than 10 000 mp3s) of electronic music placed on 2 harddrives. I will buy another harddrive (100gb+) to use it as a back-up & sort all after the capital letter. ;) |
