The weather is now resorting to scorched earth tactics here in the South, and a melting Lira is probably writing his last words before being toasted to a crisp. So, before I'm cremated in my office by an angry sun, I'd like to ask you - what are you doing today? Are you having fun? Have a good one in my charred memory!
Edit: If I do survive, I intend to watch The Darkest Hour tonight because there's free air conditioning in the cinema.

Well it's getting warmer than it was earlier in the week and late last week. The snow is starting to melt. We got like 4-5 inches though this week, what a mess.
Wife only like 3 weeks away from baby time, we are trying to get all the small stuff ready. Any last tips from any c0r parents before the big day?

Thawing out in ye olde Southeast today, thankfully. Going to be a "long" weekend, mentally, as we are waiting for the wife to have a biopsy and MRI next week (hopefully) to confirm...lymphoma. Never been so scared/nervous/paralyzed in my life. :(
Edit: biopsy is a week from today. Hurry up and wait!

It's ing cold here again. Black ice everywhere this morning. I stacked it riding my bike to work and now have a colourful bruise forming on my arse cheek. Only one thing to do, in these conditions: get too drunk to feel my own face.

Oh yeah... there was this bit on the news yesterday where a guy lost control of his car due to black ice and slammed into a truck. His two kids on board (3 and 1,5 years old) died instantly, and the dude is in critical condition himself.
Today I found out it was the family of my former coworker's sister. Fun times.

I'm sure your wife already has her hospital bag packed? If not, do it. You should pack one as well. Otherwise, enjoy your last moments without a baby running your life. Go out for nice dinners, hit the movies, etc etc.
