It's difficult to tell if you're so opposed to this definition because you're -dumb enough to think that there's no social element in determining male/female stereotypes |
Obviously there's a social element in male/female stereotypes. I never said there wasn't. That doesn't change the very meaning of the word 'gender' though. |

If we'd followed that logic, none of TA's epic beatdown threads would have ever come to pass. |
I'm just saying this guy isn't at all triggered the way epic losers like Nou or Srussell were when they took their beats. It's knowing that buttons are being pushed which makes the licks entertaining. Well at least for me, anyway. :p |

| I do agree that this discussion is largely pointless as you aren't going to convince me or vice versa. |

| See? You can't argue with someone who embraces pure stupidity. |

That's not what discussions are about. They're about exchanging ideas and understanding how others view different issues - and, of course, they may lead to a change of heart.
If you think this discussion is pointless, however, then it is. |

At the moment they're trying to change the definition of the word 'racism' so that only white people in the USA can be racist and minorities cannot... |

Cite your sources, buddy. |

The meaning of language changes based on common usage. Innumerable words in the English language (and countless others) have shifted meaning across many years, sometimes to the point of meaning the exact opposite of their original usage. If enough people use a word in a certain way, its meaning will change. And yes, I studied linguistics as well. You might not like what those horrible SJWs have done to your precious language, but unfortunately for you, the meaning of the word has changed. And, as I've pointed out, there's a very useful and applicable reason for that change, which you've now admitted is valid.
So your argument that it's linguistically "wrong" has been shat on, and your argument that it's just PC nonsense has been shat on. Do you enjoy getting shat on? You seem to be going out of your way to get as many people to on you as possible. |

Haha
Really all you need is basic knowledge to realise language changes over time as it is also a social construct. |

It's no use. As much as I'd sympathise with Lucky on this one, the way he framed the "reverse racism" issue is already a non-starter - even if he does cite a source. |

Oh, for sure. I wasn't trying to argue with him, I just wanted to see if he'd double down on that crazy bull and what kind of mental gymnastics he had to go through to get there, lol. |
