Already did the lawn and washed the Mini today.
It's going to be a beautiful weekend with temperatures over 20C, so no complaining here.

Football competition starts tomorrow but the boys don't have a match, so no need to get up early, yeah :)

Wife and daughter will go shopping, so I'll visit my parents with my son tomorrow.
Visiting friends on Sunday and watching F1.

Next.
Hides in Shadow
Damnnn, this place lasted this long without a Friday thread today, hmm. It looks like empanadas, brown rice, sausage, and steak from Argentina is what I'm eating tonight. COD beta is still up with cross play which means, xbox, ps4 and pc is all in the action. Still waiting for my ads to sell on reverb so I can buy some hardware efx for my studio other than that nothing....
Ted Promo
I am trundling up from my fetid basement the boxes of Ted Promo for Cor Mod 2018 signage and other assorted swag and adjusting each one by hand to say 2020 in time for my upcoming campaign to be Cor mod.

Good riddance, lira.

Doing nothing interesting

Went to the cinema yesterday to see Ad Astra, the new Brad Pitt science fiction effort. Don't bother.

In Manchester tonight because a friend is DJing. You have to show your face at these things, don't you? The weather is superb. September is such a beautiful month.

It's been described as 'Apocalypse Now in space,' so yeah, I fully plan to bother. That said, I don't think I've ever seen you impressed by any hyped up or acclaimed science fiction effort (besides RoboCop). Ad Astra, Blade Runner 2049, Prometheus, and I'm sure a few others I'm forgetting all get singularly disappointing marks from you.

God damn I was looking forward to this lol.

I'll still probably go see it because I'm a space-movie fanboy.

I'm aware I'm at risk of sounding like a contrarian teenager by always panning these films, but reading around online it seems that I'm not alone on this one. The audience reaction has been far more negative than the critical reaction.

Anyway, there have been science fiction films in the fairly recent past I've enjoyed: Dredd, Rogue One, Ex Machina, Moon, District 9 etc.

I'm only curious about it to see if Matt Damon makes another 'lost in space' cameo.

Ex Machina is great movie.

Yeah Dredd and Ex-Machina are the good ones, not sure about the others which I have seen.

Yep, here too. September is easily my favorite month of the year, for so many reasons.

Father in law's birthday so going out to dinner tomorrow. Chill weekend otherwise, just enjoying these beauty days!
