imo being and adventurous and eating a pet are separate. i don't eat too many carnivorous animals(seafood only, omnivores birds count too i guess). i've had bear and it sucked |
The dogs I've eaten have all been farmed. If you eat any animal, essentially stfu lol. Pigs are smarter than dogs and i'm not putting down bacon or smoked pork belly either.

You can buy beef in India. It's just ridiculously expensive.
Their McDonalds is prob the best in the world, though. |

| It’s going down to animal diet basically. I stay away from factory farm foods but side point is no dog has been bread for flavour |

You've obviously never been to Korea, and possibly have never left your basement lol. That statement is beyond false, BTG's sister.
PS. The Swiss also breed specific dog types for meat. For flavor.
Why eat anything if not for flavour? lmao |

| Will have to take word on the dogs bred for flavour, as can’t wrap head around that. Could see a fat cujo being tastier than a zoo though but I wouldn’t with that. I end at rabbits, worms and crickets. Maybe non-rabbid squirrel but would like southern state Americans opinion first, zoozoo? |

| You guys should try to dogs, not eat them. |

If you've eaten a "chicken" nugget or basic low grade hot dog, you've eaten something far worse than any delicious and healthy bosingtang thinly sliced and poached pooch. It's expensive too lol. They butcher on site so you know it's fresh. |

Yeah, leafs don't fall here, so I can't say anything about the topic. Trees just stay green from August through May and then self-immolate in June and July. Pretty standard :p
Nothing else to report, really. We've been spending unhealthy lengths of time at home as our government unravels before our eyes. Pretty standard too :p |

Me and IKEA have some beef, haven't been in ages. |
Not here! Dunno about elsewhere in the world...
I try and avoid heading to that part of the city, but there's a few good Ikea hacks I want to implement to tidy up my space. |

Word.
I tried dog soup in Korea and found it tasty. Didn't repulse me like I thought it would. I was pretty tipsy though. Could have fed me a roasted turd to my delight.
Speaking of soups, the Polish have some weird ones of which I'm not a fan. Czernina is essentially a bowl of duck blood. My grandmother used to force feed it to me. I rarely eat soups anywhere because hers were so good and nothing can stand up to her standard, but I hated that one. Then there's tripe (edible stomach linings from various animals) soup, which I had a few years ago. I didn't find it disgusting, but it wasn't something to write home about. Def better than the duck blood and super nutritious.
I don't think I've seen food that looked stranger than the array of seafood in Busan. They had tanks full of all kinds of weird creatures and their offals. I needed a lot of soju to down some of it. I was so young and American then, though, and I'd probably love it now.
Aroma apparently accounts for about 75 percent of flavor. If it smells good, it'll probably taste good. If you spice it and slice it, you can like it.
My advice to all you closed-minded bitches (I.e. Americans): Don't let your preconceived notions limit your worldly experience and live a little. People love an American who's willing to break bread without being pigheaded. Results in great memories!

I loved the cuisine in India until I got the obligatory 48-hour s. That was a rough overnight bus ride (they don't have toilets). I'll save that tale for another thread. |
