Hahaha, yes! I remember I freaked out the first time I saw it, hehe.
On a side note, I've just received the bleakest news this Friday.
There was this former student who became a friend, and he got a scholarship to study in Japan 8 years ago. I kind of lost touch with him and I've just been informed he was found unresponsive in his hotel room last night with self inflicted wounds. Weird thing is, it just doesn't add up, and none of his closest friends saw it coming.
I had always assumed he was living his dream (he always wanted to live in Tokyo), and he was often on TV saying just that. I really admired the guy... how weird. |

Spent the afternoon sitting in front of a cozy fireplace at the pub with the fam. Took a nice walk home along the river in the misty rain. Time for wine and decks.
I was in a weird mood this morning. Sort of snapped out of it now, but I'd really love to get out and have a dance. It's been on my mind. Really miss it :(
As for Halloween, our boiler is ed and all the parts I ordered finally arrived. I'll pretend to be a plumber and see if my troubleshooting results in success. |

First week of vacation comes to a close today. Other than house/farm chores, I have nothing to show for it, and that's perfectly fine by me! We got our first real cold snap today, and temps will drop just below the freezing mark tonight. I will probably knock the dust off the stove. I'll move all the next to it first, of course. :o

We average 40s and 50s F, most of the time, but in Jan and Feb we can dig into single digits for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. Again, this is F I am speaking of.
