Wow, looks like someone has never heard of famous scientist Arnold Ernstain’s Theory of Reality

A bit, yeah. Just thought I'd tell him to get help just in case though, you never know. But, yeah, it's just a matter of times before bird droppings enter the conversation.

My wife has steamed rice for breakfast, which would be the definition of odd (for me), but totally harmless and perfectly acceptable. She doesn't seem to understand why I can't get enough of bread and cheese either, which is also odd because cheese is life, but that's hardly something serious.

What you said, however, isn't odd, it's abusive and not something most people would put up with.

  1. Get off the internet and seek professional help. Something is clearly off about you, and even if one of us here turned out to be a specialist, this isn't the right medium or place to give you any assistance. If anything, it's just a matter of time before you end up listening to misogynistic cretins online. Sure, do that and you might attract partners being a red-pilled Andrew Tate-like figure, but the people around you will most likely be a reflection of the twit you'll become.
  2. Like Sys said, this is something we might experience when teenagers, not in our thirties. Most grown-ups would see this sort of situation and simply walk away. What you call "anxious attachment style" seems to be low self-esteem issues, and you're not being able to spot a red flag in a Chinese military parade.
  3. It's blatantly obvious that you're hanging out with the wrong sort of people. If you're single, good, it's easier to get your act together and find a way out... but, for the love of God, don't put up with this sort of thing you're talking about. Just get off the internet already and go seek professional help.

Yeh it is abusive. My friends are pissed and can't believe I even want to know her.

Nah no Andrew Tate... there's probably a few reasons I can't think of right now but really i have 3 times as many female friends so I doubt anti women attitude would happen to me

I have a feeling professional help isn't as useful as people think. I kniw plenty of people with a personality disorder who have been that way despite therapy.

I am however seeing a psych but we're more working on work related routines. Also ehh... the social advice might be better to learn from friends anyway

I'm not sure. The last time I was upset about a girl they weren't so...

"Nah man, I just like intense girls, you wouldn't understand the complexities of the situation, I don't need any advice thanks, my friends are saying the exact same things as you but it's cool it's just who I'm attracted to, I've got more disorders than zeros at the end of my bank balance but I don't need to listen to people with jobs and stable long term relationships, the doctor told me to take these pills but whatever man, people just don't get me, really though, why am I single..."

Ok so first of all "I dunno why I'm single" was just a joke.

People most likely do not understand the situation unless they know a fair bit about bpd. Yeh you make a good point about how I should listen to people doing well in life in various ways.

Also I just have bipolar. Maybe mild autism.

Then what the was all that babbling claptrap about the Australian secret service, high tech drugs and server privileges?
Singularity55
I dunno man. I saw it in a movie a while ago. It's mostly something I dream about and then I'm not sure which things are my experiences and which some are dreams. It's a bit odd but that wasn't sufficient for another diagnosis. It's pretty embarassing actually
@mods can you delete the aus secret service stuff please.

Also don't call me a spy please. I have enough issues with knowing who I am as it is.

Oh yeh also this is day 4 of taking acid so thet probably doesn't help

Arnold Ernstain wrote that reality is relative in case you didn’t hear about it

Good. Also, if you have this many female friends, I'm sure they can introduce you to someone better ;)

I takes two to tango: just seeing a psychologist won't do any wonders unless you're willing to cooperate. Also, you might not click with one specific person, but show more improvement with someone else.

Either way, I can assure you it'll be less useless than turning to us for this kind of advice.

I never said I was looking for advice... people just give it anyway. Which is fine but like the point of the thread was for people to give anecdotes of that stuff not to just discuss one person.
