The stupid thing is terrorism is an awful thing, when u make these childish comments u forget about the people they affect, like all the relatives of the people who died in the most recent cases of bali and on 9/11.
It is this kinda crap thats causes world wars. Shows that hatred goes a long way back, and people r still banging on about how england did this 100 years ago, and blah blah blah.
If u wanna go far enough back we should hate the italian for invading us, back in the days of the roman empire.
Oh and then the french tried, and failed,. Germany ofcoarse tried to invade, and take over the world
The scots and irish tried to invade us
Vikings - think that is norway/sweeden area, they succesfully invaded.
I could go on
So before any country members bull, remember yr country has probably been invaded far less than ours, heh.
But i think that has given our country an interesting history, and culture.
But according to all these people stuck in the past english people really should hate a whole load of countries, but wots the point
I think it would be great if we could all get along on this forum, even though we cant do it on the world scene.
But there always sad pathetic people who want to start mini flame wars on here. All i can say is

Well the part of Britains arse getting saved yes in some way it did, El Alamein was the ing turning point in World War 2 it was the first major victory for the allies, and every soldier was British a mere handfull were from Australia and New Zealand, then theres the battle of Britain, also the Commando raids on France, and Norway it struck fear into hitler. Plus add all the other Victories to it, WW2 wasn't one by one country but a lot of ing countries each putting in Effort.

Only a mere handfull of Irish, however during the Roman occupation of Britain the celts from Ireland used to invade Roman settlements and slaughter everyone. William Wallace however is a different story all togther he did have Irish fighting for him, but not loads, most were too busy slaughtering each other. |

Oh yeh the US always ready with a quick fix, lets go bomb people who cares if we get nuked?
I can't believe the UK are ahead of Afghanistan or iraq, its not as if we've cause global panic ffs like those 2 countries.

I was gonna say Slovenia, for several reasons, two biggest being:
1. when yugoslavia fell apart, all non-slovenian, mostly croatian money in newly established slovenian banks became nationalised
2. Croatia and slovenia have built a nuclear power plant together during yugoslavia on slovenian territorry, and when yu fell apart, they cut power lines to cro.

Dont get me started on the french, building a huge line of fortresses in WW2, and the germans going round them, and then they lost their planes
