Reviews on file sharing programs../.. Which programs to use after Napster?? (pg. 5)

i did a little road test of these programs....
i have tried winmx, napster, audiognome, limewire
before the banning, napster won HANDS DOWN.
i tried to get "planet funk - chase the sun" as a trial mp3 to download. searched for "planet funk" (wihout the quote marks).
limwire: crap, came up with lots of results. tried EVERY single t1 and above to download, none worked.
win mx: planet funk gave no results
napster: planet funk is banned
audiognome: ultimate. came up with loads of results, and when i tried t3s they worked almost instantly, (quicker starting than napster).
i have also used ag, but the interface suxx bigtime. and sometimes you get ty speeds. my conclusion is that audiognome wins, no quesitons asked.
on another note, i have blackice, and my attacks went through the f*ing roof when i used any of these progs!!!!
just something to note for you pplz without firewalls. |

| Can't somebody put a peer to peer server (dunno how you call such a thing) on his server (like swamper??), to wich only trancEaddicts have access, so we can all get on it through winMX or so...? |

Hehe great ideas, but have anyone already pm'ed swamper, cause I don't think he look at this thread so he never gonna know of it.

If Swamper (webmaster) made this a server for file sharing it would
- Absorb lots of resources (more than likely)
- Have legal and ethical problems
Having said that if someone wants to become an opennap go here, click on the "Server Guide" button, and there are detailed instructions on how to get started. |

tried audiognome,limewire and imesh, audiognome kicks ass tho (someone said it before) the interface sux!!
i tried audiogalaxy months ago and i didnt like the interface there either!! |

Even if it's just a peer-to-peer server with about 1000 max members?? And about the legal problems--> is the music video and single section of trancEaddict legal?? |
