| Music-city Server's on WinMX used to be AWESOME before they went to Morpheus... it had 30,000 gigs of mp3s online whenever you connected... but now when i connect it says there's a couple thousand of users online.. but with not 1 mp3 being served =( |

Hey Ponty DC ! :=)
So what are you using now ?
I am using WinMX. It's an excellent program but I would like another. To have a good alternative. I dont know. Are you thinking in one right now ?. Just tell me. Thankx |

| Right now WinMX is the best out there (audioGnome is a close second) I would stick with either one of those. |

Actually, at the moment I have become an avid user of tranceaddict.com. =]
I haven't used any client for awhile, but I do watch and listen to my friends (reality and internet friends). The consensus at the moment is that WinMX is better, aG is having connectivity problems from my recent experience. I was one of the original beta testers for this cool program, so I have a affinity for aG. It does have the coolness of PNN, which is close to p2p. It is just not reliable at the moment but this is probably due to the decline of the opennap movement. I used WinMX when it 1st came out, just as I did for most of the other file sharing apps (filenavigator, songspy, bearshare, gnutella, IRC, newsgroups, etc.). It was nice when it came out and it still is the top of the heap at this point. To answer your question: about 5000 users so around 2500Gig, to be honest I wasn't paying too much attention. =] |

Okay currently im using audiogalaxy (i'll tell u why in a min). This is good bcos they have nearly every song i want but, the d/l speeds suck.
On my computer i have installed :-
WinMx
Napster
Napigator
Toad Node
AudioGnome
Gnotella
And apart from Napster (RIP) when i start any of them they wont connect to any servers. And if they do then i wont be able to find any files i want.
Am i doin something wrong? Plus a list of decent servers wud definatly b a good idea. |

ing RIAA, if the artists got the money it wouldn't bother me as much. I would gladly pay the artists direct for tunes. |

| I used Imesh, and worked my winamp at the sametime the only problem with it is that you can't play the song your d/l-ing until it's done...but it's still bugged in other ways too. |
