| Try using Swaptor... goto www.swaptor.com it's just as good as Napster, but the search takes a little bit longer. |

Basically, all the popular filesharing progs (and download managers)(not napster) has spyware on it. if you had good firewall running, you'll see buttload of outbound requests from these spyware. I just deny the requests! *LOL
Zone alarm (free) is one of the best firewall out there. but i heard it won't detect's bearshare's spyware, you'll have to manually delete the files in question (newdotnet file). Nor adaware either, not until 5.0 comes out.
