Well... that kind of sux.. I was hoping for a completely BLISS night of all trance in the main room, but now its not gunna happen and am very dissapointed. I dont mean to be negative, but I just might go somewhere else this year. Jungle is just NOT my thing. And having to be forced outside in the FREEZING cold in a tent, forget it. Staying home and saving some money sounds like a good idea this year.

If your read the venue information you will see that the tent will be heated....and were talking HOT HOT HOT!!! so u will not even know you are outside as the tent is secure right to the ground...it is going to look amazing as well, as we have some totaly crazy decor action going on in there...I dont want to give away any surprises but it will look phat!
ps - there are only 2 jungle sets in the main room!!! ie - most of the trance is in the main room.

I see where your coming from, but every Destiny party ive been to, you've split it all up, trance in one room all night and jungle and all that other noise in the other room, why the change?? Are you goin to have a trance DJ on in the tent while jungle is bein spun in the main room??

DESTINY has always felt that it is best to keep things all split up as a means of respect to all the kinds of music. People are always moving around that way, sometimes hear music that they normally would not listen to (and fall in love with it!!!)
Destiny parties where it has been set up with one room trance, another room something else were parties that were done with other companies. That means each company got it's own room and stuck to that kind of music.
Going back to this party: There are never two types of the same music playing in both rooms...so you will not be 'forced' to listen to jungle if u dont want to. hehe |

Ok understandable... So who are the DJ's spinning jungle in the main room? I know one is Ryan Ruckus, whos the other one? Total Science??? and at what times??

Yo stop complaining, they done this before and it was successful. Destiny & Big Bud - Higher State. Jon the Dentist and Usual Suspects both played in the main room at the Docks.

It was insane to hear BadBoyBill,Ed Rush,Matrix,DJ Dan all in the main room.
This is a great idea, you get a change of room and still get to hear whatever you want all night long. Ppl just don't understand the concept of things. Maybe ya it's time for you to open your ears to other muzuk in our scene. BTW, it's not just trance and Jungle in the main room fool !!!
Destiny, KEEP THE TIME SLOT the way it is .... You need TOTAL SCIENCE to bring in the new years. PREFECT FORMAT for the main room, Jungle,breaks and trance !!! |

i'm looking forward to hearing some nice jungle and breaks, as i've never heard them live before. combine that with my love of trance, and this night will be awesome. throw in some hard acid techno c/o unabomber, and a crazy hardcore set by grimace and dominic, man.
this will be good. plus i like the fact of going to the other room to check things out. change of scenery. |

First off, calm down... I have tried "Opening" my ears to Jungle, Breaks, Happy Hardcore:whip: . This "other muzik in our scene" is just noise to me. It doesnt have the same effect as Trance does on me... So easy big guy! I just hate moving from one room to the other, its no fun tryin to barge through cracked out 16 yr olds lying on the floor trying to get to another room. What does Total Science spin anyway, ive never heard of them before...

All music has a required taste, so if your not feeling the other stuff i can understand where your comming from. As for me, I'm not into Happy Hardcore at all, but i do love Dnb/jungle and like breakbeats, so i have no complaints about the set up, plus i like a change of atmosphere too. The only thing i'm hoping for is that the Tent isn't partly flooded!!!!!
