wells if they go back to throwing their Destiny or Ascension parties, that would be the place to do it ... !

i guess this is an exception cuz u have multi-genres so u'd need multi-rooms.. but for a trance only party, VIva is definately the place.. :D
DJOS2
I couldn't agree more - being a resident there I often have the pleasure of experiencing what is likely the second best sound and light show in Toronto, if not the whole of Ontario (2nd only to the Guv...)

I don't know if you can say the party is a hard house party solely because headliner madam zu spins hard house/hard trance. indeed, i think she is the only one that spins this type of music at the party (sadly!) Look at the entire jungle line up or every other dj that spins some kind of trance...seems like quite a silly comment to me.

Well maybe im just used to going to party's because of the headliners, like many people i can assure you. Headliner, main show, usually determines the main flow of the party

When i go to see tiesto @ the guv, i say its a trance party, even tho mark oliver is going to play progressive before him, i still say its a trance party

so take it how you want I see my reasoning as justifyable

It's in the Kool Haus, and Luke Fair is opening up for Tiesto, not Oliver.

Hey originalVIBE

You might be able to answer this question.....
Where the hell is Hardware?? I am one of his biggest fans and haven't heard or seen much oh him. I have his last CD "Let the Drums Speak" and it still gets regular play in my car and Stereo. DO you know where he is??
DJOS2
Actually, I can answer that one - I am his agent! Hardware took some time off after the summer to do studio work (with his band Medecamp (sp?)) and start a new family (his first child was born in November). He is actually booked in Buffalo on Dec 28 and in Houston on NYE. We had him out this past summer for one of the boat cruises and will definitely have him back again before the summer for something!

Thanks for the info. DJOS2! I wish he would come up here more often as I missed him on the cruise. Does he have anymore sets or CDs other than the Let the Drums Speak? I have been searching for a while but there is some other Hardware who spins like techno . Anyways any info would be appreciated, and tell him congrats on his new baby! Dude is a wicked DJ!!

From what I understand the Trance will be inside (obviously), but the second room will be in a tent outside!! How else could it be done???

I agree with you on the tiesto comment, but that is because you are going to see him, and he will be playing an extended set (3hrs+.) Also, there are very few other djs spinning that night, so with tiesto spinning for the majority of the party, i would agree that the party is a trance fiesta.
However, in the case of madam zu, she will only be spinning for i'd imagine an hour and a half. then, there are numerous locals that will be playing both before and after, thus her spin time will be quite a small percentage of the total. Most of the music from that room will be trance, and not hard house.
I completely see what your point is, but i guess I don't agree with it. Hopefully we can both agree that madam zu is a kick ass dj...and that this party needs more hard nrg.

LoL madame zu's stuff is great, i remember last I saw her was last august @ mohawk invasion @ tropicana (EWW VENUE :) ) She headlined for that event, there were plenty of other djs there too, but it was a hard house party, hard house crowd, she played an extended set and what not. Im guessing she will even play an extended set @ this party. I dont mind hard house.. but my heart goes out to trance.

it was a fun party, not to mention jason marshalls set afterwards which was outstanding
